Description:
No action, however grand, noble or transcendental has true value if it arises from an imagined sense of lack, want or need. Any trace of hidden motive or agenda, however subtle, contaminates it and invites consequence.
It is essential to ask: Why do I do what I do? Humans are masters of SELF-DECEPTION and most fail to see the hidden ME behind their actions.
Practical needs like eating, moving or maintaining healthcare are natural and necessary but when the Mind Invents A Story of incompleteness, attachment or desire, it creates an illusion, a psychological lack . This illusion is what binds and corrupts action.
There is nothing called real psychological lack. What appears as lack exists only as the mind’s story, a distortion of what is already whole. When this illusion is seen and dropped, action arises effortlessly, free of agenda, pure in itself.
Nature's Law is Simple,
Action is sanctified not by absence of need but by absence of self-clinging or personal motive.
AWARENESS dissolves the illusion of lack, leaving only pure, uncompromised action.
A truly Conscious Action is free from Lack or Want and only such an Action is the Right Action and such an Effortless Action leaves no trail of Karmic Baggage just like a Bird Leaves No Trail Of Its Flight 😊.
Have you ever investigated why you exactly do what you do?
Such an investigation done honestly in itself cleanses the Action, just by merely Becoming Aware, the Action gets transformed.

It is impossible to judge whether a person has good or bad karma by looking at their life from the outside no matter how fortunate or unfortunate their circumstances may appear.
No external event or situation is inherently good or bad. An event is simply an event; a situation is simply a situation. Nature does not arrive with labels attached. MEANING is supplied by the human mind.
Just as eating a jamun is not a universally pleasurable experience, it depends entirely on individual taste. The same is true of life situations. It is not the situation itself but our RESPONSE to it, our Perspective, that determines whether we experience happiness or suffering.
This Perspective is NOT random. It is the accumulated essence of our past thoughts, actions and experiences. Over time, it becomes a filter through which all events are interpreted and flavored.
Karma is not something “out there.” It is not stored in a cosmic ledger or in the events that happen to us. The true meaning of karma is this Inner Filter we have developed. Every thought and action subtly reshapes it and in doing so, reshapes How Life Is Experienced .
From this view, karma shifts from an external scoreboard to an inner architecture . It is not about what happens to me but about the kind of experiencer I have become. Two people can live through the same event and inhabit entirely different inner worlds . That fact alone dismantles the idea that good things happen to good people and bad things to bad people.
Karma is not stored somewhere, it is stored as us, as tendencies, reflexes, emotional grooves and default meanings. Over time, these patterns harden into a lens and that lens becomes the world we experience.
No amount of external performance can override how life feels from the inside. That interior quality of experience is the real karmic report card and it is private. Regardless of appearances, each person knows inwardly the texture of their own life.
Events themselves are NEUTRAL . Nature does not annotate reality with “good” or “bad.”
Experience is NOT neutral. The mind interprets, filters, and colors everything it touches.
That Filter Is Karma, not fate, not destiny & not a cosmic accounting system but the kind of EXPERIENCER we have trained ourselves to be.
If you want to know your karma, notice how life feels when NO ONE IS WATCHING . 😇

Description:
How you see OTHERS is simply a projection or a reflection of how you actually see YOURSELF. Each individual and or a situation is precisely Custom-Made exclusively for you and shows you a Mirror of an aspect of yourself, mostly HIDDEN ones.
Why hidden ones only?
EVERYTHING in this Universe is Longing to come into Awareness, in a way SEEKING ATTENTION just like our entire Lives are centred around Attention, isn't it?
This is a way to Legitimize themselves, like in a way SEEKING Validation, don't all of us do that? Always chasing VALIDATION and Validation technically means Attention. Any aspect that has been Understood (or become Aware of) does not need Manifeststion because all Manifeststion is simply to make one UNDERSTAND.
Example - If you see someone as a jerk or a kind person, it is actually, in a deeper sense how you see yourself in some aspect, may be consciously/unconsciously. The external person is just a manifestation of that, like an exposure of your inner seeing in a physical form, like a 3D printing of your inner seeing, in the physical world. The Anger, Hatred. Jealousy towards that individual is an expression of your inability to Understand that aspect of yourself, a kind of helplessness due to Lack of Awareness.
These aspects are mostly Demons of our Past that have not been Resolved/Sorted because we either escape/suppress when they bubble up. After enough failed attempts to draw your Attention, the Demons say 😊 - We have had enough, now it is time for us to Manifest physically in your Life and you will have to inevitably deal with us. This is what is termed as a Crisis in our Lives and we get enough Red Flags before this happens.
The solution is NOT to suppress/justify/glorify this seeing but to examine/investigate, to UNDERSTAND why it is so.
PS - The term WORLD generally is misunderstood as a fixed, shared entity and same for all. In reality each one's World is Different & Unique , it is just your perspective of HOW you see.

The general advice on Meditation is to be NOT angry, jealous, hateful or complaining isn't it?
While most of us try to suppress these feelings because we believe they are bad, in reality NOTHING can ever be achieved by Forcing The Mind, it only gets worse when forced/suppressed and bounces back with more strength.
The real question - Why in the first place do we feel angry, jealous or any other feeling or even complain?
To put it bluntly, we simply enjoy doing so 😊
Unbelievable isn't it?
Yeah, it may sound counterintuitive but that's the hard fact. We never ever do anything if we didn't Enjoy It On Some Level, it gives us a Kick.
Yes, this is extremely hard to accept because we are Unconscious of this Enjoyment, it's not obvious.
How then to deal with it?
Firstly, Never try to Manage your anger, jealousy or complaining or any feeling internally by suppression or escape or judgement, instead you let it unravel it's full potential, give its due, feel it fully internally by just being a witness, let it dance inside you but ensure there is NO EXTERNAL FALLOUT.
This is similar to facing a Storm when you are in a boat. You don't and can't Manage a Storm isn't it?
You just let it come & pass while you do what is needed to be safe, you don't fight the storm isn't it?
Likewise, it is with our feelings, fighting is futile.
We love these feelings because We Feel Truly Alive in our otherwise dead lives during these episodes, the only way is to welcome them fully/truly and NOT fake welcome them which is welcoming with the background/hidden intention of wanting to get rid of it, this does not help.
How does one reduce these unwanted feelings then?
Just like a Boatman does his preparation before the storm, one needs to reflect/introspect on these feelings when one is in the best of moods , when one is fully available to investigate the roots of these feelings.
This is the reason the Best Counselor is NOT the greatest advisor but simply a True Listener 😊.

Rama exemplifies integrity—NOT merely as a moral virtue, but as a State Of Inner Alignment . His significance lies NOT in external victories or achievements, but in unshakeable internal coherence . Seen from a worldly perspective, his life appears marked by hardship, loss and complex dilemmas. Yet what endures across centuries is NOT the events themselves, but the manner in which he met them : without inner fracture, complaint, or compromise of his core principles.
Rama represents the possibility that while external circumstances are unpredictable , internal structure need not be . His choices were not driven by convenience, impulse or fleeting desire. They Emerged from a Place of Alignment, a deep internal compass. This is what grants Rama enduring relevance, NOT just as a figure to idolize, but as a Principle To Live By .
Integrity as Integration
At its deepest level, integrity is integration. The Sanskrit concept Kaya–Vacha–Manasa—alignment of Body, Speech, and Mind—captures this vividly. When Intention, Expression, and Action DIVERGE , inner conflict arises. Modern psychology labels this as Cognitive Dissonance , where contradictions between beliefs and actions create stress, confusion and mental depletion. Fragmentation of this kind is not abstract, it has tangible consequences on one’s energy, focus, and well-being.
Integrity is therefore NOT only a moral ideal but a Functional Necessity . Just as a structure with compromised integrity risks collapse, a divided mind experiences continuous inner friction. Much of modern life operates in this fragmented mode —caught between competing desires, roles, and expectations—turning the mind into a battleground rather than a unified space.
Living with Coherence
To live with integrity is NOT to eliminate complexity or conflict, but to find a unifying thread through life’s multiplicity. Integration does NOT simplify life; it anchors internal coherence amid complexity.
Is Absolute Integrity possible?
In a world of trade-offs—between duty and personal well-being, loyalty and fairness—even Rama faced choices fraught with consequence and controversy. Integrity does NOT eliminate external conflict but shapes how we engage with it. It is less about certainty and more about ORIENTATION, cultivating an inner compass to navigate ambiguity.
The path of integrity is a sincere movement toward coherence. It involves reducing self-contradiction, acting Consciously and minimizing self-betrayal. The focus is NOT on perfect outcomes, but Honesty in the process.
A vital distinction exists between Pain and Suffering. Pain is inevitable, Suffering arises when we resist reality or act against our deeper understanding. Misalignment amplifies suffering, while internal coherence, even amid difficulty brings clarity, steadiness and resilience.
Embodiment over Reverence
The Essence Of Rama lies NOT in reverence, but in embodiment. Integrity is NOT the absence of conflict, but the refusal to fragment under it. While external stability may remain uncertain, inner coherence can be cultivated— steadily, consciously, and over time.

Ever Observed why do we feel Egoistic only in relation to other Human Beings and NOT in relation to animals, plants, trees, mountains, rivers etc?
Meaning?
We feel (psychologically) hurt only by other individuals isn't it?
Do you ever feel (psychologically) hurt by trees, animals and non-living things?
Yes, you can be hurt physically by them but you don't carry the psychological residue of that physical hurt - Like we don't say this Tree or This Animal hurt me 8 or 9 years back but we do remember and say this Person hurt me in the past isn't it?
Do we say - This tree disrespected me or That dog insulted my worth 😂. No, because only Humans are part of our meaning making world.
Why is this so?
We dont see an Ego out there unless we have one within us. Yes, Ego as a Survival mechanism is a necessity but trouble starts when we extend the Ego's tenure beyond its necessity. Even though we are NOT Egoistic with animals, trees and non living things we ACT as necessary when there is obstruction from them isn't it? The difference is we are totally IMPERSONAL in our Actions towards them while we become very PERSONAL when it comes to other Humans. This forms the Crux for the Ego to become a place of Hurt.
The Takeaway
The hurt we carry in the case of Human Beings is less about events and more about the STORIES WE BUILD around Intention, Identity, And Meaning.
And those stories… can be questioned, softened or even REWRITTEN.
Example -
Old story : They ignored me and I’m not important.
Rewritten story
They might have been distracted and this doesn’t define my worth.
You’re not denying reality but you’re loosening the certainty of your interpretation. This does not mean the STORY is never true but to have clarity, not denial. Our pain is NOT just from what happened but from what I CONCLUDED it means about me. Once you have Clarity, you gain Freedom.
Have you ever tried Questioning & Rewriting your Conclusions? 😎

To be an “open canvas” for even one person requires a rare mix of self-awareness, humility and inner stability. You can’t offer non-judgment if you’re still fighting yourself inside.
“Fearless” here doesn’t mean fearless of pain—it means fearless of NOT controlling the story. Letting someone show you parts that are messy, contradictory & unfinished.
Safety isn’t created by advice/fixing. It’s created by presence without agenda.
And importantly, ARRIVING doesn’t mean perfection. It means you can notice your biases, pause them, and choose LISTENING anyway.
Being a blank sheet doesn’t mean erasing yourself. True arrival is when you can be fully yourself and still make space for another’s truth without shrinking, reacting, or defending.
If arrival is real, it shows up quietly:
People exhale around you.
Silence doesn’t feel awkward.
Confessions don’t feel heavy, they feel trusted.
It’s rare but yes, if you can be that for even one person, you’ve arrived somewhere that many never do.

It is like that Locked Room forbidden from opening in the movie Nagavalli because we don't want to confront that aspect of our Personality and are constantly Avoiding.
The Problem or the Situation acts like a JCB to excavate & expose that part of you which you have been ignoring all this while. It's a Ghost, an Illusion that survives through Lack of Scrutiny or Investigation . brahmaṇy ādhāya karmāṇi saṅgaṁ tyaktvā karoti yaḥ
lipyate na sa pāpena padma-patram ivāmbhasā
(Gita shloka on Dharma/Karma)
Dharma & Karma — What exactly are these?
Dharma is NOT merely Right Action, it is action aligned with reality — with Ṛta, the cosmic order. It is not rule-based like Niti , nor context-judged like Nyaya . It is deeper, an existential alignment.
Who Decides what Is Right?
Neither society nor blind belief. Figures like Rama/Krishna/Jesus are called Dharmic NOT because they were Approved by Society but because their Actions arose from Inner Clarity — Free of Psychological Self-Interest or Residue. This Residue is what is called Karma .
Dharma is validated by Inner Freedom and NOT by public opinion.
Why Do Humans Need Dharma?
Animals act in instinctive alignment with cosmic order. A Tiger killing a deer creates no karma because there is no egoic - I am the Doer thing.
Humans possess reflective SELF-AWARENESS, along with it comes the power of Identification & Psychological Residue (Karma). Only Humans are Capable of Adharma .
What Creates Karma?
Karma is NOT just action.
Karma = action + identification + attachment to outcome.
The Residue/Karma appears as Pride/Guilt/Justification/Inner Disturbance . This disturbance is the Karmic Imprint. A Dharmic action may externally fail but internally it leaves no fracture .
Acting Through a Role vs Acting As the Role
We play roles — parent, professional, citizen.
Acting through the role means being functional & flexible (Dharma).
Acting as the role means identity-bound & burdened (Karma).
This is the lotus metaphor from the Bhagavad Gita — in water, yet untouched .
Is Motive-less Action Possible?
Dharma is NOT absence of functional intention, it is absence of egoic attachment, the identity we build around all what we do and carry it as the ME.
A Doctor intends to heal but if Identity is not tied to outcome, the action remains clean. In reality its a Human playing the Role of a Doctor isn't it? Ideally, it should be like - I am a Human Being Functioning as a Doctor isn't it?
but the identification is so strong that the person BELIEVES he/she is Actually a Doctor forgetting the Role Play. This is the same for the various Roles we play be it a Mother/Father/Husband/Wife/Sister/Brother or Doctor/Judge/Police/Engineer/Politician etc etc.
When you go to sleep who are you ? Do you sleep as your Role?
Dharma is action arising from wholeness — like:
A Flower Blossoming
Fire burning
Milk overflowing
Natural & Inside-out, its Organic .
A Simple Test
After action, is there Inner contraction? Compulsive justification? Psychological noise?
If yes, Karma is in the making. If no, its Dharmic.
In Essence, Dharma is NOT decided — it is Discovered .
Animals are automatically aligned.
Humans must CONSCIOUSLY realign.
This Realignment is the Spiritual Path.

Oh, that was a wrong decision i made.
Oh, i should have invested in that property.
Oh, i shouldn't have married.
Oh, i should've further studied instead of a job.
Oh, i shouldn't have got into that fight.
Oh, i shouldn't have broken that relationship.
So on and so forth, don't most of us carry such guilt from the past and regret it?
A small story - Two friends were on a picnic and it was lunch time. One of them had brought 4 chapatis for lunch and started eating. He ate the first, second & the third but was still hungry and when he finished the 4th chapati, his stomach felt full.
As soon he felt full, he exclaimed, oh if I had eaten the 4th chapati first, i could have saved the remaining 3 chapatis.
Do you notice the similarity between our Guilt & this story?
Does this mean there are no mistakes or wrong decisions in our past life whatsoever?
Have you observed many times what felt right/wrong at one point in time felt just the opposite when seen from a different point in time or much later in life?
What does all this mean about right & wrong decisions?
The Essence of Life is that what happened could not have happened any other way, it's only our Mind that speculates post an event thereby creating a CONFUSED state. This does not mean there are no mistakes rather the mistake is only in the perspective with which we saw an event. Hence Guilt about what happened is futile but Regret is necessary as a lesson to refine our perspective. Even if you felt Guilty, the right course is for it to lead to eventual Regret to course correct for the future.
Guilt is Personal and comes from the Ego assuming the illusory Doer-ship of the past Action, feels heavy & burden-some whereas Regret has its source in an Impersonal Perspective and is more constructive.
Just like a River never stops its course and reaches the Ocean not in spite of the obstacles but because of the obstacles so is our Life. We are HERE NOT despite the wrong decisions or wrong turns in our past but precisely because of them. Every so called wrong decision/turn/failure etc was Universe's way of gently nudging you to HERE, much like the first, second & third chapati's innocent contribution to make the stomach full.
That which your mind labelled as wrong turn/decision of the past was precisely the much needed right turn/decision at that time that helped you reach HERE and there was no other path to get HERE. It was all a game of your Mind/Ego trying to project these labels of right/wrong into the Actions of the Past because this is how it survives, by inventing stories about a Past that is Dead, thereby taking away our Attention from the NOW which is the present and as a consequence draining our precious Energies.
GUILT says: “I am bad.”
It attaches identity to the action. It’s heavy, self-focused and often paralyzing.
REGRET says: “That choice didn’t serve me.” It evaluates the action , NOT the self. It’s reflective and can be corrective.
The Real Mistake?
Staying in guilt instead of extracting regret & Living in the past instead of integrating it.
Guilt drains, Regret refines but Wisdom integrates.😊

While we have heard of umpteen stories about what happens after death etc, they are just stories or beliefs isn't it?
Ever wondered how Death feels? 🤔
Technically speaking Death means an Unconditional Absolute Ending, it's a certain Freedom.
Just like when you say
You Love a certain Food
You Love watching a Cinema
You Love Travelling
You Love Painting etc etc
Irrespective of what You Love to do, the experience of Love is same in all scenarios.
Likewise, Death is an Absolute Ending, NOT of something/anything but the very Act of Ending, it is experience of that Freedom in all Endings, be it the Complete Ending of a Habit or the Complete Ending of a Relationship or the Complete Ending of a Wanting etc etc.
If you notice, we all experience such an Ending of our Identity in its Totality every night in our Deep Sleep, an Absolute Freedom from the ME and we all know how Blissful it feels.

Collaboration over Competition
(Love & Dislike — Together 🤔)
Ever wondered why most New Year resolutions fail?
We often believe that Love and Dislike cannot coexist — but is that really true?
To explore this, we need to understand two aspects of ourselves: PERSONALITY and PRESENCE.
Personality is the collection of surface-level traits and behaviors — our interface with the world. It functions largely as a survival mechanism.
Presence , on the other hand, is deeper. It reflects who we truly are at heart — especially when we feel safe and our survival is taken care of.
At a fundamental level, there is nothing wrong with anyone’s Presence. Deep inside, there exists a Universal Goodness in all of us. Conflicts arise mainly at the level of Personality — and rightfully so — because nature itself is designed for Unity In Diversity.
Example:
Imagine having a porcupine as a pet. You may genuinely love it, but you wouldn’t hug it — because it’s THORNY. Does that mean you STOP loving it?
Absolutely NOT isn't it?
It simply means we must wisely manage the balance between Essence (like Care and Concern) and Expression (like Physical closeness or hugging etc).
Humans aren’t very different. Each of us has a personality that can feel “thorny” to others, yet our presence may still carry genuine care.
This is why it’s possible — and necessary — to love someone while disliking certain aspects of them.
Surface-level incompatibility should not be mistaken for hatred.
Like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle, we are all unique and different — yet each piece has a rightful place. Only through Collaboration do we see the complete picture.
This design applies not only to interpersonal relationships, but also to our intrapersonal relationship — the relationship between Me and my Mind .
Many resolutions fail because instead of COLLABORATING with our minds through understanding and awareness, we impose unrealistic expectations through force — operating in a COMPETITIVE mode against ourselves.
True Intelligence lies in the objective, sensible & careful collaboration of the best aspects within us — not in senseless competition driven by Ego. It calls for deep ATTENTION and AWARENESS — to ourselves and to our surroundings — so we may understand how we fit together for Maximum Collective Well-being 😊

Enjoy what you do or Do what you Enjoy 😊
(SWADHARMA = inner resonance and NOT social approval)
If you have been searching for a Formula for Life, this is it, can't get simpler than this.
Know this for sure, one can Enjoy Their Doing only if there is a deep RESONANCE between who/what they are at their Core to their Doing. Yes, every INDIVIDUAL IS UNIQUELY built/manufactured for a correspondingly Unique Doing and Discovering this is the real purpose of Life. This is what has been referred to as Swadharma in Bhagwatgita.
EXAMPLE - Someone may say I enjoy Binging on TV with Junk food or I enjoy Smoking or I enjoy Drinking or I enjoy Binging on Emotions or Psychological Drama incessantly. Does this qualify as Swadharma?
Yes, the Mind always wants to exploit any postulation to its advantage, these are valid questions.
ANSWER
Yes, you are ABSOLUTELY FREE to Binge on any damn thing just that you should also enjoy it's CONSEQUENCES with equal fervour because we live in a World of Duality, meaning everything comes in pairs and we can't be selective and should be ready to accept the whole package .
So, how do I know my Swadharma correctly?
When you do something, not only should you enjoy the Doing but also it's Consequences/Results/Outcomes with the same amount of welcoming which means taking Complete Responsibility with absolutely No Complaints. This kind of welcoming is an indication of HARMONY between the individual and the Universe, an indication of your Swadharma.
It's an Absolute Law of Nature that irrespective of how GOOD/GREAT you are at your Doing, irrespective of how many Great Labels or Power or Fame or Wealth the World may shower on you, if it does not Generate Joy in you or you are Not Enjoying from INSIDE, its an absolutely Wasted Life Opportunity, technically it means you are Out of Sync with the Functioning of your Universe.
On the contrary, irrespective of how MISERABLE you APPEAR to the external world, irrespective of how the World JUDGES you, if you are TRULY Contented or Blissed out in your INTERIORITY and have Absolutely No Complaints then absolutely nothing else matters, YOU ARE EXACTLY WHERE SHOULD BE, firmly established in Your Swadharma 😎.
Quiet joy > loud success.
Inner harmony > external validation.
NOTE - Swadharma is NOT a Static thing, its just like Life.
It evolves as awareness evolves. What was once Swadharma can become a LIMITATION if consciousness outgrows it.
Swadharma is NOT what feels good but it is what feels RIGHT even when it's Hard.
If your outer life and inner state agree with each other—without excuses—you are in Swadharma and this is called INTEGRITY 😊

If you are NOT experiencing a Peaceful, Calm, Jubilant and more evidently an ENTHUSIASTIC Life with at least an occasional Exploding Of Joy and instead mostly Sulking, Cribbing, quoting Excuses and more predominantly COMPLAINING about Life, it's the clearest indication that You are not doing what you are precisely born to do.
Just like a Fish is born to Swim, a Bird is born to Fly, YOU, the individual is born for a specific kind of Action, like there is a precise Slot designed specifically for you in this world.
What will happen if you use a Hammer to remove/tighten a Screw? Frustration & Suffering right?
Well, that's precisely what happens when we don't find out precise Slot and Act Inorganically. The Greater Tragedy is NOT that we Cage Birds, Trap Fishes & Domesticate Animals to Suffer our Inorganic Actions, but we Cage Ourselves in our Petty Personalities and impose unspoken Atrocities & Suffering on our own Selves by way of our Inorganic Lives.
The degree of your Suffering/Joy is Directly proportional to the degree of MISMATCH (not what you PROJECT to the external world but your True Inner Feeling ) between what you are Born to do & What you are currently doing.
Life is SCREAMING and telling you through the various Happenings/Events/Incidents of your Life, it is the FEEDBACK that Life is drawing your Attention to constantly.

Just like the Radio is not the source all music/news etc that it produces, the Human Brain is NOT the source of all what we know, it is just a Receiver like the Radio or the Smartphone, receiving all its Content from the Station or Source or a Server.
The Brain just gives an EXPRESSION to the Content or the Essence that it receives. The Quality of the Content is a Function of the Brain's Configuration/Conditioning/BELIEFS . In other words the output of a Human Brain (Thoughts/Actions/Behaviour) depends on how it has been Programmed or Cultured.
The more Fine-Tuned the Brain is, the Richer the Quality of its Content. Fine-Tuned means SENSITIVITY (Not the emotional/sentimental stuff) or AWARENESS or simply put a Sense of Openness to New Stuff as against a rigid moulded pre-concluded structure. Every time you Learn Something New, a Mutation happens in your Brain thereby Changing Its Structure and enhancing its SENSITIVITY and this Sensitivity is what, in common parlance called INTELLIGENCE.
The greater one's propensity to get Hurt or get Triggered or to become Touchy or Fussy, the lesser is the degree of one's Intelligence.

The same reflects in Human Society as is currently happening with Artificial Intelligence, there is no scope for INERTIA in this Universe.

Understanding and Thinking are just like Fire & Smoke. The brighter the Flame, the lesser the Smoke isn't it?
The more the Thinking means the lesser is our Understanding.
Thinking is not altogether bad, it has its place in Functional Life but we all know how our constant Over-Thinking haunts us. That Perpetual Voice in our Head ever worrying, regretting, fearing, over-analyzing etc etc how it keeps us on tenterhooks isn't it?
Ever Wondered why do we (UNNECESSARILY) Think ? 🤔
Unnecessary Thinking is like keeping the Engine on even when the Vehicle is Stationary or Not Moving.
Such Thinking, to put simply is just the direct consequence of a POOR UNDERSTANDING of a Thing, Situation, Event or a Person.
When something is thoroughly Understood, you become One with it, the YOU dissolves and this leaves no room for any Fear/Guilt etc hence there is NO space for thinking. Such a thorough/complete Understanding can come only when one is Fully Attentive or in Full Attention to the NOW, Fully Available to the current Happening.
Right or Thorough Understanding is a place of Calm & Joy, a State To Relish. Take for example EXPERT Cooking or Driving. An Expert, Somebody who thoroughly Understands the NUANCES of Cooking or Driving savours the act, it is Energizing rather than Draining. Their fine tuned Understanding of the Act, leaves no room for Thinking/Confusion. They are in Absolute Harmony with their Action. Try speaking to some Expert on what it means to Operate From a place of such Understanding and you will see how they Bloom like a Flower instantly because it's so Liberating 😊
What we Lack in Understanding, we try to compensate in Over-Thinking. This is NOT only Not Effective but also gluttony and extremely exhausting.

What you think impacts just you, the individual, while what you Understand impacts your entire World.
All your Actions are a consequence of your Understanding while your Thinking is just like a commentary or subtitles.
Understanding is the script that runs your life while Thinking is just like a joker that takes a bow, taking ownership post the Action, it is extraneous.

BOREDOM - The Modern Menace
Being BUSY is generally associated with Prestige or a Sense of Eliteness.
Is this really so or is it a sign of Escaping or an act of ignorance?
It is one thing to be truly busy/engaged in some necessary meaningful work/activity but pretending to be BUSY to to feel a Sense of Superiority is sheer Dumbness.
Many of us simply dread Doing Nothing , it scares the shit out of many people (ask retirees) because they are unable to handle what we call Boredom.
What exactly is Boredom and why do we want to avoid it?
All our lives are centered around Objects, be it Material Objects or Mental Objects like Thoughts/Emotions/Memories etc. We are so ENSLAVED with these Objects, just like a Kid with a Toy , that we can't imagine being without Objects. We are so dependent on these Objects that we never realise the Beauty of JUST BEING, without any Objects (Mental/Physical) and Struggle With Boredom, trying to invent new ways of Engaging Self.
Have you ever seen any ANIMAL getting Bored? 😊
BOREDOM in short is one's inability to see the SPACE in which these Objects appear because we are so attached to or caught up in our own Objects.
While Seeing the Absence of a Painting/Photo on a Wall and hence getting disappointed is Boredom, seeing the Presence of the empty Wall and relishing it is Meditation.

Relationship & Opinions
Every Relationship, be it any kind (love or hate), with your Family, Friends, Office or in general with the World around you is in one way or the other, on some level or in some dimension is a Mirror reflecting Who/What you are to some degree.
This Mirror of Relationship is constantly reflecting every Reaction/Response of yours at every moment just like Signals on a Road, redirecting and helping you Navigate your Life Journey just that most of us are Unconscious about this and we often fail to see the Red or Green Flags.
Every Comment/Opinion that you get, if NOT entirely true, always has atleast a Zilch of Truth, in it, atleast in ESSENCE if not in expression whether we like it or not. It is in our Best Interest to see all these Reflections Absolutely Objectively, as guiding lights for a Safe & Sane Life Journey.
Just like the Mirrors in our car, there are Front, Rear, Side and other kinds of Mirrors in our Relationship and they come in all Forms & Shapes, each one giving a Different Perspective of your Personality and what it means to be You & the way You are.
Any wise person would NEVER IGNORE even the smallest or insignificant of these Reflections and put it to its best use because these Mirrors of Relationships are MEDIUMS through which the Universe is passing on a Message to You 😊.

Catching the Culprit needs Sensitivity
No matter how many Problems you claim your Mind is battling with, technically, the Human Mind can process ONLY ONE Problem/Operation at any given point in time. Its our Lack of Awareness that makes it APPEAR like we are Drowned in problems. The Human Mind is a Single Threaded Machine, CANNOT Multitask.
The Trick is to Identify that ONE PROBLEM that bothers you the most, which usually keeps low profile but casts it's shadow on all other minor problems to magnify & make them appear like one's Life as a whole is Hopeless.
You will see for yourself and experience the Expansion of Your Mind, the Relief that you get and the Difference it will create when this One Hidden Problem/Culprit is dealt with, on Priority and Completely because this one Problem has been Draining all your energy Silently & Surreptitiously. This is just like that one big piece of furniture eating up the entire space of your room in plain sight, yet invisibly because of Unawareness.
The Challenge is to be AWARE & SENSITIVE to the inner workings of one's Mind and investigate to find that one bad guy who's spoiling the entire party of your Life.

MEDITATION - Truly what is it? 🤔
Probably, one of the most used words increasingly in modern times is Meditation.
It has become the buzzword, like a Trend and then we have a zillion types of Meditations, each claiming itself as the most authentic, powerful, healing etc etc from the Laymen to the Lofty Gurus.
Is Concentration Meditation?
Is sitting Quietly Meditation?
Is Chanting Meditation?
Is Pooja/Prayer Meditation?
Is Mindfulness Meditation?
Is having Visions Meditation?
Is seeing Lights Meditation?
Is having strange Experiences Meditation?
...so on and so forth we have all kinds of MECHANICAL circus happening in the name of Meditation and no matter how long one continues doing these it won't bring about any REAL substance or value in one's life.
What is Meditation Truly?🤔
Simplest answer - EFFORTLESSNESS is Meditation.
Meditation cannot be Done , it has to Happen. Meditation is NOT something to be pursued as a Goal, NOT to be pursued as an Objective, NOT something to be achieved through struggle, effort, practice, books or concentration. Meditation is NOT something that can be cultivated.
In other words, Meditation is what happens (NOT done) as a consequence when there is Absolute Effortlessness. Meditation is when there is Zero Friction in the Mind. It is called Meditation when only that Absolute Internal Stillness remains and this happens only when there is Absolute Humility. This Stillness is NOT dependent on anything, it is the Source of Everything.
Such Humility which comes Unsought, Unexpectedly, Naturally and when there is absolutely zero internal conflict (which is absolute INTEGRITY) , when one is so completely SORTED in one's interiority, Meditation Happens 🙏.
Anything where Psychological Effort or Struggle or Friction is involved is just pure ENTERTAINMENT in the name of Meditation. Its just Self-Deception.
Meditation Truly means to cleanse oneself of all the mental stories that we tell ourselves, to cleanse all Self-Deceptions. Meditation is that Flower that Blossoms when one is Truly Resolved, Truly Innocent, Truly Awake 😊.

CHOICE - is it a Privilege or Poverty?
Generally, when you go to buy a Saree or a Shirt, the shopkeeper shows you a variety of options and asks you to pick or CHOOSE that you like, isn't it?
This, in colloquial terms is considered a PRIVILEGE, the Power/Freedom to Choose what you like, like the Power of Choice.
Is this so called Power of Choice really a PRIVILEGE?
Or
Is it an indication of POVERTY & Confusion?
Lets say you knew with 100% clarity what Saree or Shirt you wanted , the Colour, the Design, the Price etc etc precisely then would you be left with a Choice at all?
Absolutely NOT isn't it?
If you knew what you exactly wanted the other options would no longer be options at all, it is Black & White, there is NO room for any Selection from various options isn't it? In Essence, there is absolutely NO room for any Confusion because you know exactly what you want. Hence the question of CHOICE wouldn't arise at all because you have 100% Clarity.
Extrapolate this to other larger issues/situations in our lives and you Discover that whenever you are faced with a Choice, it does not mean you have Privilege or Entitlement or Advantage, it simply means YOU ARE CONFUSED period and
should seek CLARITY.
It's so Unfortunate that we sleep walk through our entire Lives with these FALSE Understandings or Conditioning because we have been told to Believe So and we Blindly Follow, without ever enquiring into the Truth of these Beliefs or Assumptions.
We roll on without any clue about what is it exactly that we want in our lives, UTTERLY CONFUSED?🤔
The richer/wealthier/sophisticated one is, the more one has this Power of Confusion, ooops you call it Choice.🥴
This is so extreme that what is actually a sign of an Impoverished Mind or Poverty is masked as a Privilege, such is the Level Of SELF DECEPTION we carry with us and teach our next generations with all Pomp & Show.

A Fact is something that has either happened or is happening but then we come to a CONCLUSION about a Fact by way of Abstraction and pursue that Abstraction.
A Conclusion is NOT a Fact, it is just an Idea/Concept based on a Fact, just like a False is a twisted version of the Truth.
Example - Let's say I am Jealous, this is a Fact but then we create a Conclusion/Ideal/Concept that - i should NOT be Jealous.
This in essence implies the I/Me is separate from Jealousy but the Fact is - I am Jealous actually means
I/Me = Jealous
The I/Me is NOT separate from Jealousy.
To Conclude means to get away from a Fact, creating a distance/gap, to create an Opposite of a Fact, and this Gap means Division and Division means Conflict.
The problem with Conflict is that it DETERIORATES THE BRAIN and this is exactly what is happening to all Humans, Tons of Inner Conflicts.
Is it possible to stay with a Fact and NOT Conclude due to prejudice, thereby avoid an Inner Conflict?
To stay with a Fact means No Gap hence No Psychological Time. It is Absolutely Possible to Stay with a Fact and when one does that, a Mutation of the Brain takes place, hence the change happens.
Our ATTEMPT TO ESCAPE from the Fact through Justification, Avoidance etc etc is the crux of all Conflict & Suffering in the world.

Wishful Thinking vs Positive Thinking
These two are often misunderstood and used interchangeably.
Wishful Thinking is more about what you would like to happen, conveniently IGNORING the Facts and on the ground Realities. This is close to being Delusional , thinking from inside a Personalized Cocoon. This is Naivety .
Positive Thinking on the other hand does NOT mean ignoring real time on the ground Challenges and Risks . Rather, it is about being REALISTIC and considering all possibilities and addressing them meticulously with a Constructive and Hopeful Attitude. This is Maturity . 😊

Traditionally, often a Challenging situation is labelled as Bad Karma and an Undemanding/Easy situation as Good karma.
In Factuality, No Situation howsoever Big/Complex/Small/Simple by itself in Isolation is deterministic of Good/Bad Karma. Rather, it is our EXPERIENCE of a Situation or our RESPONSE to a Situation that actually determines Good/Bad Karma.
Karma is NOT about WHAT happens in the external world but it is about HOW one sees whatever happens in the external world.
Karma is not stored in some Cloud Memory or some Distant Server. It is Crystallized Within Us in the form of our Rigid Beliefs, Suffocating Mindsets and Layers of Conditioning which force our COMPULSIVE Reactions to otherwise bland/odourless/colourless/attribute less situations.
Karma in its simplest form is nothing but our Perspective on Life and is further manifested as our Body. The shape, the size, the form that our Bodies take is the embodiment of who We Actually Are. This is NOT to get into judging our bodies as beautiful /ugly which is a social stereotype but realising that there is a message in the way we have shaped up, just See them as they are, for what they are.
Karma is NOT an inevitable baggage that needs to be worked out over multiple Births. It is something that one needs to become Aware of NOW because anything brought into the LIGHT OF SELF AWARENESS dissolves immediately. It can trouble only as long as it is hidden from our Awareness.

Being Joyful is more important than Being Good, why?
Being Good is all about how one APPEARS from Outside. If you are trying to be Good it means you are pursuing some Goal like it's a label, this is Inorganic.
Whereas Being Joyful is all about how one EXPERIENCES inside oneself, it's NOT a label rather a Feeling from within, this is Organic.
One can pretend or appear to be Good outside without Being Joyful inside but when one is Joyful inside Being Good on the outside is a natural & inevitable consequence.

Path breaking Neuroscience Research suggests that there could be more to Near Death Experiences or generally called NDEs and Out Of Body experiences or OBEs than mere hallucinations. The striking similarity between NDEs and ancient Mystical experiences suggests that we are not just inside our bodies or limited to our bodies, infact the Brain works extremely hard to give us an Illusory experience of being limited to a body.
When a Brain is cut into two halves that is when the Left and the Right Hemispheres of the Brain are disconnected, two Selfs or Two Identities get created in one single body as per one of the experiments.
Where/What then is the Individual YOU that our entire Life rallies around? 🤔
Interesting to see how the so called Separate Self or Individual is NOT an existential reality and only a fiction created by our Brains for the sake of Survival.

Sounds ridiculous? 🥴
Yep, this is the Essence of some Groundbreaking Research in Regenerative/Molecular Biology is pointing to.
Michael Kevin's research seems to have cracked the Secret to Regeneration of Cells/Organs. In what he refers to as a Cognitive Glue, there are Bioelectrical circuits which Guide the course of Morphogenesis or in simpler terms determine the BLUEPRINTS of Tissues/Organs.
When certain individual cells break away from the Family/Group of cells, kind of becoming Egoistic and want to chart out their own separate individual growth path, Cancer happens. The individual cells kind of start acting like Separate Single Celled Organisms thereby treating the rest of the cells as OTHERS, hence a division/conflict arises.
Seems weird but it appears like these individual cells suddenly triggered their memory as being Amoebas in their past lives. Michael demonstrates interesting experiments on how these Rogue Cells can be Coaxed and Coerced into joining the Family back through controlled and guided Bioelectrical Messaging thereby healing Cancer at its roots.

Think of this, what's that one thing/space/zone/place that is closest to your heart, that one thing you cherish, that one thing you love to do/be in anytime, that one thing that you never get bored of, that one thing that you never get tired of doing/being in, that space where you are at your vulnerable most, that zone where you are fearless, that place where you are least distracted, that place where you are not haunted by the ghosts of the past or the illusions of your future, that source which energises you, that space where you love to truly rest in, that place where you yearn to be in, that womb that you would want to call your true home, that space where you are your best version.
This space/zone is NOT about a physical activity or a physical place, it's more of a Psychological Space, a certain corner of your Mind that has Never Been Wounded , gives you the most warmth/comfort that helps you Discover who you really are.
Have you discovered such a Space in You?
If not, life is getting wasted in all its vagaries because there is such a Space in all of us. Irrespective of all the Turbulence in our external lives that Space remains Always Anchored, that's the Immovable You , the Real You 😊.
While we do what is necessary for survival, the real purpose is to Discover that Space and to frequent that Space and recognize doing what in life takes one there most optimally and then Orient one's life around that with a real Sense of Urgency because in the absence of a CONSCIOUS ORIENTATION , one's Life goes into Default Mode, an automatic mechanical mode of monotony and mediocrity, an enormous wastage of our precious energies.
A Sense of Urgency, mind you does not mean to Hasten or to Hurry up. It does not mean one has to abandon one's duties/chores, it's not about relinquishing one's survival/functional responsibilities but to realize the subtle difference between Getting Sucked by the Transactions Of Life vs Living Life in all its Splendour.
Ever noticed how a small kid hurries up with the survival chores like eating, dressing up, homework, getting groomed etc by his/her mother and is wanting to Rush To Play 😊 which is the what the kid really wants to do isn't it, it's where the Kid's Heart is isn't it?
Where is your Heart? 🤔
Likewise, a Sense of Urgency in us to get done with the Transactions of Life, to be Sorted, To be Resolved with the Transactional Trivialities, the silly Psychological Egoic Dramas, the Mediocre Entertainments that hold us hostage from Enjoying the Play of Life, the Divine Leela😊
A Sense of Urgency means to review and prioritize things in our Life so as to get us fastest to the PAVILION, a comfortable place to view the Game of Life from a cosy corner 😊.

If you feel one of your relatives, friends, colleagues or acquaintances is very EGOISTIC in nature, it is precisely because You are Egoistic too in similar proportions. The reason is, its mostly only an Ego that feels the negative force of another Ego. An Non-Egoistic/ HUMBLE person may be able to detect an Ego impersonally but will not feel the weight/resistive force of another Ego. An Ego can bounce off only on another Ego. Non-Egoic space is more like EMPTY SPACE, offers zero resistance hence cannot bounce back an Ego.
Everytime you feel hurt/intimidated/resentment/hostile (which is an Egoistic action from your end) about another person you are automatically sending a SUBLIMINAL message to him/her thereby evoking an Egoistic Reaction from them. This implies that the whole saga of Egoistic Interaction was Initiated From Your End To Begin With.
You can try this as an experiment by Watching yourself or becoming Aware of how/what you actually feel when you are about to begin an interaction and see how CONSCIOUS subtle changes to your Interiority has a profound impact on the other person's reaction.
This is like in a video game, the only LIVE Avatar is YOU and the rest of all the Characters/Environment is just a Programmatic Auto-Response and is entirely dependent/tied tightly on/to Your actions.
Is it possible to recognise/detect another's Ego without Self becoming Egoistic?
As an Exception Yes, that's an Art. It takes a profound UNDERSTANDING of the Structure of an Ego to detect but remain unaffected by another's Ego.
How do I know if I have a Strong Ego?
Easily Hurt or Get Provoked and/or Always Complaining are some of the sure shot indicators of a Gigantic Ego.
In short, just like Judo, the OTHER has no power whatsoever without YOUR INVITATION/PROVOCATION to play the Game of Ego 😊.

Most human minds are crowded places with conflicting/contradicting thoughts which leads to a DIS-INTEGRATED mind which is what causes all the Dissociative Disorders of the Mind. When a similar thing happens on a Bodily Level, we call it Cancer. Cancer is disintegration of the cells in terms of violation of a common goal, like a breaking of the Cognitive Glue that holds all of them together towards a Common Goal of building a Tissue/Organ. Intention (inner-tension) - The Original Sin
Intention in its Latin originate means To Stretch or To Strain one's Attention, essentially indicating a Non-Relaxation or Non-Resting State. It is a kind of DOING hence implicitly means the emergence of a DOER.
Intention in simple words may mean setting a direction towards an object of desire. There are many methods/techniques for manifesting things/situations through a process of Intention-Setting and following it up with Visualisation etc. what is their value in Life?
At the outset, this looks like a harmless technique to achieve or get things fulfilled but the reality is that it is just Mind acting at its superficial most level which is through Thinking. This comes with its undesirable byproducts or consequences.
What exactly is an Intention?
An Intention is creation of a point/centre in an otherwise Centre-less/Seamless Universe. An Intention is exactly where Duality begins, it is where the Individual gets created and is the beginning of Me vs the Universe, the dichotomy, the division happens and there by ensues Conflict. An intention is like a Whirlpool in an otherwise calm waters.
Intention implicitly implies that the ME is a Fish in the Ocean instead of a Wave in the Ocean, the difference being a Fish can be plucked out of an Ocean while a wave cannot. Intent literally means inner-tension and with so many conflicting intentions, the Mind and hence the World is literally a battlefield.
The road to hell is paved with good intentions 😊.
With every individual imploding with their proclaimed altruistic intentions our shared spaces have become ovens of conflicts, frustrations and sufferings. Any intention is by its nature Limited hence is in conflict with another's intention however noble, this is the reason there are so many ego clashes even in the closest of family circles. Ever observed why we feel good in the company of animals, plants or nature like mountains/rivers/forests? Simply because none of these harbour any kind of intentions. This is why Vacations are such coveted experiences, we get to experience the Bliss of Intentions Free zones.
While intention has its rightful place in the Practical Arena , it is absolutely criminal to pollute our psychological spaces with intentions.
Karmanye Vaadhikaaraste.....
This shloka is all about intentions because an intention is nothing but a Solidified/Masked Desire only. The interesting thing is, this is like a two sided coin, we can attribute intentions to others only when the ME is trapped in its own intentions. An intention means to abandon the Impersonal and take refuge in the Personal.
An Intention-less Being sees a world without intentions, the Way it Truly Is and hence no conflicts, always acting from a place of Not-Knowing-ness. Such a Being's actions originate from a place of Wholesome-ness as against a Me vs You action.
Do we really need an intention in a place like a Relation?
An intention is always inorganic, cut off from the reality, it's a product of imagination hence an Illusion, a kind of escaping the NOW, meaning Not Being Available To The Enormity of The Present . The biggest irony is most of us are NOT even Aware of our intentions, yet we go about executing them with surprising conviction.
We are all infested with Intentions on various levels from gross to subtle. While it's tempting to pit Good intentions against Bad intentions, this is only a Trap, even the Noblest of Noble Intentions originate from a space of Person-ality rather than Presence, the Source by itself is a limited/constricted space.
To the question whether the World is either a Chaotic place or an already Perfect place (the way it truly is), depends on How one Sees it and NOT what one Sees, the How being either through the Filters of One's intentions or from an intention-less space.
Intention is exactly how one avoids Surrender .
The highest is to be Free from Intentions.

Thinking is just a Symptom. If one feels one's Thinking needs to change one then has to deal with one's Understanding because Understanding forms the basis for one's Thinking.
No individual actually Thinks and Nobody has any Direct Control over one's Thinking. Thinking just happens as an Outcome of one's Understanding.
To Understand means Stand Under the Thinking Mind. Understanding is the fundamental Rules Engine out of which Thinking Emerges hence the key is to amend the Rules Engine. Incomplete Understanding means to have an erroneous Rules Engine, resulting in erroneous Thinking.

One of the best videos explaining in its ultimate simplicity the process of Thinking. Thoughts are classified into 2 categories, first being the Practical Thought and the second being the Psychological Thought and the Difference between these two and how Practical Thought is useful and builds a bridge and how Psychological Thought Imprisons, how Memory is to be used and NOT get used by Memory.
The trick is NOT in controlling, suppressing, discplining or escaping Thought but Seeing Through It and giving Thought it's legitimate place as a Survival Tool ONLY. It is UNDERSTANDING and not Effort that is the secret here. Effort means Psychological Time and Psychological Time can never solve any of our psychological problems because there is NO psychological tomorrow. Psychological Time is pure illusion.
This is NOT about Fixing Thought, NOT what you Think ABOUT but to see the Movement, the Structure of the very process of Thought or Thinking.
The example of looking at a Tree and naming it as a Banyan Tree is a Practical Thought, that's useful but if one stopped there then one has missed Life. One has bypassed the experience of a Tree by naming it, one has missed the Fragrance, the Stillness, the Shape, the Presence of the Tree, thereby limiting it just to a Label, just Knowledge. Real Awareness happens when you look at the Tree Beyond The Word.
Now, extend this to the people we meet. How would it be to Experience them, See them without being Clouded by the Filters of our Memory, without the History, WITHOUT any Psychological Residue and No Projection, like a baby just born.
Life is Always Moving. To know Life through Memory is to NEVER know Life at all because Memory is a DEAD thing and this essentially means We Never Really Live.
The moment you ABSTRACT something or somebody by labelling/judging you have separated them from you.
So the SHIFT required is not from Bad Thought to Good Thought, not from Paapam to Punyam but from Unconsciousness to Awareness.

Criticality of Integrity
The Sense of Separation as a physical INDIVIDUAL is so habituated/conditioned into our psyche that one's relation with one's own self mirrors one's relation with the external world. Our individual Mind's, disintegrated by a multitude of opposing concepts, ideas and opinions due to Lack of Clarity have become crowded places developing into fertile battlegrounds for inner conflicts thereby draining all our energies, leading to Dissociative disorders in the Mind and/or manifesting as Cancers in the Body.

Just like a Wave is dependent on Water and there is NO wave without Water, the Wave is referred to as an illusion or relative reality, so is the Ego, it is NOT a fixed entity but more like a flow, a kind of Thinking.
This said, Ego has its place, it's importance in the realm of physical identity, to see one's Body as a Separate entity from other bodies and to take care accordingly because my hunger/thirst cannot be fulfilled by somebody else's eating/drinking.
So far so good, the problem starts when we, out of habit , take this Egoic requirement to the psychological realm which has absolutely NO place there.
Presence of Feelings like Guilt, Hurt, Hatred, Jealousy, Greedy etc etc
and being very Touchy, easily getting Triggered are some of the sure shot indicators of an Enormous Ego, time to step up the Alert.
Given a choice, what kind of person would we like to be in the company of?
Easy going or Touchy folks?
Is it enjoyable to walk on eggshells in a relation?

Self-Deception - The mother of all Sins
Concentration can be an intermediary helpful step but is NOT actually Meditation. Concentration is Attention going out while Meditation is just the opposite which is Relaxation of Attention.
Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana and Samadhi are the steps enumerated by Patanjali for clarity by breaking this process of Withdrawing Attention from Outwards to Relaxing/Collapsing internally onto its Source.
Verbal language, a tool like any other has its place in life, is most effective when it is used to communicate with others but when one becomes hostage to language and needs verbal language to communicate with one's own self which is what all the unrelenting unnecessary mental noise/chatter is all about then it's becomes insanity.
It is when this inner chatter stops, that one is officially said to be in Samadhi, a place/space of Stillness and this is not just a theoretical concept, a real and very much realizable sthithi provided one is emancipated from one's Hypocrisies. This inner mental chatter/noise is the ghost that is the manifestation/indication of one's Lack of Integrity or generally called Atmadroha.
Without this, what we generally call Chiita-shuddhi or Atma-shuddhi or Integrity, no amount of Wealth/Effort/Poojas/Rituals/Charity/Religion/Spirituality/Power/Ambition etc etc can ever bring any kind of Inner Tranquility. One may APPEAR to be Calm on the outset or deceive the world to be so but the REAL GAME is about how one experiences oneself from inside moment to moment and this is best known or judged by the individual himself/herself.
Deceiving the external world is nothing infront of Self-Deception. There is no bigger Sin than Self-Betrayal or Self-Denial and today we have a zillion sophisticated ways of doing this and make it appear so suave, so class that even the doer himself cannot separate one's own fakery from one's truth. Engaging in various forms of Diversions/Entertainments/Justifications/Escapes/Suppression to AVOID seeing the Truth of One's real internal state is the greatest danger in life. Not Knowing or Not Being Aware of one's own Self-Deception is generally flaunted as Ignorance is Bliss but this only appears like a cool statement and in reality is a ticking timebomb and is laiden with inevitable suffering.

Life WITHOUT Choices. Possible? 🤔
Like in a Reflexively Harmonious but Conscious way 🤔
Absolutely yes, that is what a Sthitha Prajna is all about, just cruising through Life IMPERSONALLY.
How does it actually feel?
Driving is probably the closest experience one can relate to as to how one can live WITHOUT Choices/Decisions, like a Sthitha Prajna. if one Observes closely, an experienced/good Driver almost never uses his Mind to Calculate/Decide at what angle to steer or cross or when exactly to press the Accelerator or the Brake, in short how to Navigate on the road even in tricky/chaotic traffic conditions. The experience of Driving becomes so much his/her second-nature or natural, like an instinct that the Driver is extremely Alert/Conscious but NOT mentally involved, isn't it? Infact, accidents tend to happen when the Driver brings Thinking/Mind into the exercise, thereby losing Sync with the Situation.
The Driver drives as Though he/she IS THE Car, like the Car being just an extension of himself/herself but NOT identified with the Car. There is always a subtle distance/gap between the Car and the Driver in Driver's Awareness. Infact, when a Driver gets too close or is totally identified with the Car while driving, he/she becomes anxious/stressful of driving and tends to make mistakes. There is a difference between seeing the Car as an extension of oneself during Driving as a driver vs identifying with a stationary Car as its Owner (aka attachment), each of these has its own corresponding consequences.
Mind you, NOT everyone who drives is Conscious. Even Unconscious/Automatic driving, which is mostly the case may APPEAR to be good but is Anti Growth or Anti Evolutionary. Though all of us begin Driving Consciously, most people slip into an Automatic/Unconscious mode subsequently. This is where the analogy is limited in the question of Whether one can Cruise through Life just like Driving but Fully Consciously, without having to make Decisions whatsoever? 🤔
Also, Conscious Driving is NOT the same as becoming Conscious (means to bring in Thinking) while Driving which leads to Anxiety, Stress etc. True Conscious Driving is extremely Safe, Relaxing and absolutely Enjoyable.
CONSCIOUS meaning, Being Aware of Being Aware. Like the Person Being Aware of playing the Driver's role as a part of the Traffic Scene/Situation AND actually Driving, both at the same time, thereby adding a Tinge of Impersonality.
This can be extended to many other Professions or Activities as well. Like a Surgeon who operates. We have all heard that Surgeons generally don't operate on their family members to avoid clinical misjudgements which in essence is the risk of becoming Personal and thereby losing their Sense of Impersonality.
The question is, can this ATTITUDE (if you want to call so) of Impersonality be extended to our entire Lives? 🤔
Absolutely YES, that's what is referred to as Sthitha-Prajna, one who is not ruffled by the highs/lows of Life, one who is totally established in Awareness 🙏.
To him/her there is no Attachment, there is no burden of Doing, things just Happen and such a Being is always rested in The Being-ness even in the midst of Chaos/Challenges, to such a Being Life is a Play, a Leela 😊.

The illusion of Choice, which is essentially Decision Making and knowingly/unknowingly we presume to be making DECISIONS small or big whatever, at every step, every moment isn't it?
Decision making/Choice is the biggest burden if you closely examine isn't it?
The illusion of Choice appears only when there is confusion isn't it?
If one is absolutely clear is there a need for Choice at all?
The irony is it's only an illusion that we Choose/Decide and because of this illusion we feel we are the Doers and then follows Guilt, Regrets and Expectations etc, the whole gamut of Karma etc, all this in vain because in reality we as Body/Mind mechanisms DON'T have a Choice at all in the first place, its all scripted but we Suffer because we Don't Understand .
Try and re-magine, all the situations of Life, if we Understood why we did what we did while doing, there is no scope for Suffering isn't it?
The whole perspective towards Life SHIFTS drastically when we Understand why we do what we do. Suffering Is only when one does NOT Understand isn't it?

Labour CLEARS the Mind ☺️
(Labour in this context should be taken as any physical activity including but not limited to hardwork)
The folds/knots of the Mind are ironed out by the Actions/Movement of the Body.
The Physical Body is like one end of the Spectrum, like the leaves of a Tree. It's like the Expression side of the Essence, a place or space or maybe a medium of dissipation.
The Physical Body is like a Vent for the Mind , a means to dispose the Garbage of Unnecessary Activity/Thinking that it accumulates from time to time.
Dissipation of what?
As we all know, unlike the Physical Body, the Mind is ALWAYS in movement whether one is sitting, walking, sleeping etc etc. This constant movement of the Mind is not without consequences, it is constantly creating MOMENTUM which is what we call Karma, a religious name. Karma is like an Accumulation of Folds/Knots or a kind of Psychological Winding and the Physical Body is an instrument through which the Mind can IRON OUT it's Folds. This is the reason it Feels So Good after a rigorous Workout Session , a brief gap where the Mind is free from its Folds HENCE experiences a kind of Thought-less/Momentum-less State probably called The Dopamine Effect until it starts Accumulating again and the Vicious cycle goes on. There are ofcourse other ways but this is one of the most common ways people use WORK/Physical Activity knowingly/unknowingly.
In reality, the HUMBLE Physical Body doesn't need so much Workout, it is designed to sustain for long life even with a Basic amount of Movement/Exercise/Workout, imagine how a comatose patient limited to a bed survives without any exercise for long periods. The gist is, most of the Workout is for the Mind and the Body is just a means. No wonder even Workout can become an ADDICTION because the Mind is at play here.
POOR BODY ☺️ caught up in the wrangles of the Mind bears the brunt. While the Body is built for Movement, this excessive pressure from the Mind wears the Body out. If the Body does NOT co-operate due to inertia or laziness, the Mind infuses it's garbage either into the Body and manifests as Bodily Dis-Ease or the Mind unable to dispose of its accumulated garbage, gets entangled in its own making and becomes Delusional, leading to Mental ill-health.
Isn't language so beautiful, the word WORK-OUT is so indicative, it means for the Body to Work - it - Out what the Mind creates, like Body taking Mind's Karma, feels unfair na 😇.
PONDER - While Workout is not a bad thing, why not Explore other Graceful ALTERNATIVES in addition to this, just out of curiosity 🤔.
Mind you, Diverting the Mind into various forms of Entertainment or Mental Work does not classify as WORK-OUT.
Some of the tactical alternate practical methods to dissipate/dissolve this Momentum/Karma are Physical Fasting, Verbal Fasting and Psychological Fasting.
The reason these are Tactical in nature is because these are mostly reparative.
While these are Tactically Reparative, the Strategically Preventive one's are Nishkama Karma, Meditation etc.

If the Desire for Progress, including Spiritual Progress as well is prohibited then what is the way forward?
Mumukshatva or Longing/Yearning/Virah is NOT the same as having a Desire/Motive for spiritual progress.
While Desire/Motive is a Function of the Thought/Mind hence prohibition, Mumukshatva is more like Hunger or Thirst or Breath which are Existential and NOT Mind things, they are NOT concepts, hence advocated. This is the way of Seeking Through Non-Seeking.
Mumukshatva is more like a Sense of Urgency but not Haste, it is Impersonal in the sense that it is not a product of the Mind but of Understanding. Just like River is always indirectly eager to reach the Sea so is Mumukshatva, a Directionless Desire resulting NOT because of a certain wanting but because of an EXHAUSTION resulting from Vishayasakthi or Worldly affairs or the Phenomenal world, a kind of Relaxation.
The difference is like the difference between Syntax and Semantics in a Software Program.
Mumukshatva is more like that Back of the Mind feeling/pining when you go on a vacation. Irrespective of where the vacation takes you, be it national/international or the most exotic of places, though one is excited in the beginning there is a kind of psychological FATIGUE one experiences after sometime in the vacation, even the most luxurious/adventurous vacation experiences cannot keep you hooked forever and there comes a time when you start pining to Go Back HOME despite all the attractions of the vacation, an EXHAUSTION that reminds one of HOME because HOME is like a mother's womb, inspite of doing whatever or going wherever that pull of the WOMB is always present in all of us, that is Home Coming ☺️, a Return to Innocence after all the excitement of playing the Game of Life, just like a child after playing to his/her heart's content, at the end of the day wants to sleep/rest on his/her mother's lap, so is Mumukshatva that deepest calling in all of us to return to our HOME which is Moksha, after getting tired of all the Games we play in Life ☺️.

Karmanye Vaadhikaaraste Maphalesu Kadhachana ..🙏
Technically what's WRONG with a Desire/Expectation?
Am sure most of us agree that what we call HAPPINESS is a label that we give to a STATE when we are Relaxed isn't it?
WE, here means the Body and the Mind mechanism. To Relax is to Let Go the Agitation in the Mind and the Contraction in the Body, put together may be called as a kind of TENSION in the Body/Mind machine/mechanism, primarily caused by Fear and Desire. Knowingly/Unknowingly we are constantly in the grip of Fear and Desire on various levels, in a kind of Non-Homeostasis state.
One can verify first hand in their own experience how Fear And Desire create a Tension and lead to Contraction/Agitation in the Body/Mind mechanism and when a Letting Go of these happens, the Body/Mind reaches what can be called a Fearless/Desireless state.
Does this Fearless/Desireless Body/Mind CAUSE or give us a feeling of Happiness?
NO, because the Body/Mind is just an INSTRUMENT, like any tool we use, it is more like a Mode for EXPRESSION of Happiness which means the ESSENCE must be somewhere else isn't it?
Where is the ESSENCE? 🤔
Here comes the Secret that the Rishis have been screaming on top of their voices that Happiness is our True Nature but we hardly understood this.
Our Nature being Consciousness, that which makes us Conscious, operates through the Body/Mind instrument. When the Body/Mind Relaxes, we Discover our Consciousness and the Happiness from Consciousness OOZES OUT because of the Removal of the Superimposition of a Desiring Body/Mind.
Mind you Consciousness is NOT a State, its a NOUMENA, meaning that which Perceives a State but Cannot be Perceived.
This could happen temporarily or permanently.
Temporary is when one has a Desire to get a Ferrari which is a Contraction/Agitation in Body/Mind or a kind of TENSION in general and when the Desire is Fulfilled, the Contraction EASES, a temporary discovery of Consciousness due to a Window of Temporary DESIRE-LESS-NESS hence Happiness happens until ANOTHER Desire grips the Mind because my next Desire could be the need for a girl to accompany me in my Ferrari 😉 so on and so forth.

Orientation OVER Expectation
Expectation does not lead to Suffering, Expectation is Suffering PERIOD
The word Expectations generally seem to point in the direction of Pressure isn't it? Mostly to a negative connotation,
almost like a stick to beat with, like to meet Expectations in a Job, in a Relationship, in a Position etc feels like carrying the burden of a big boulder called the GOAL.
While setting and meeting Expectations in the Practical world is absolutely needed why CARRY this into the psychological realm?
Do we do this with Clarity or More As An Unconscious HABIT? 🤔
Take an example of a Relationship, we all are up to the brim in terms of Expectations but ever wondered why we do this?
Is there any Data/Science to prove that 'Having Expectations results in a Good Relationship'? Infact, most of OUR EXPERIENCE is contradictory to this isn't it? Lesser the better isn't it? Despite this we continue to Expect right?
REASON - Lack of investigation to see the Truth of our Experience, instead we are hijacked by Thoughts/Thinking inherited by us from the Conditioning from our surroundings, the Society. We tend to BELIEVE in that Conditioning against the FORCE of our own Experience, all this purely because we don't Pay Attention, we simply Lack Awareness, We Choose to Ignore the Reality of our Experience.
What is this Investigation?
To investigate is to LOOK at the simple FACT whether Having an Expectation enhanced or diminished the Relationship.
What is an Expectation and why is it Detrimental and how does it work?
An Expectation is a Subtle mental process of Rejecting the NOW.
To reject the NOW is to reject the Reality of What is. The NOW or WHAT IS is the only Portal/Connection to the only One Reality. Any rejection/escape from this Reality is the beginning of Illusion hence it's subsequent sufferable consequences because once we lose touch with Reality there is only Suffering, it is inevitable.
ORIENTATION, instead of Expectation is the way forward. To Orient oneself is to familiarise with the NOW. Orientation is almost like the opposite of Expectation, it is an inside out, an Organic process NOT directed towards a Goal but focussed on Understanding/Connecting with What Is, without escaping or rejecting. This Orientation brings the whole ATTENTION to The Present, focussing all our energies on the NOW and NOT in an imaginary Expected Goal.
This Orientation is what has been referred to as YAJNA by the Rishis. To live Life like a Yajna is to ORIENT oneself towards a Directionless DESIRE/EXPECTATION, a kind of Looking Forward To State but NOT for any specific predefined thing just like a River Always Accepting and Never Rejecting, it has No Goal of reaching the Sea but all its Actions are Oriented towards reaching the Sea and it always does.
YAJNA traditionally means Offering things to Fire. Orientation is the Yajna where One is Offering the Past (Memory) and the Future (Imagination) into the Fire of NOW. The NOW is like a Fire because the Past and the Future cannot sustain in the NOW, they die. This essentially means the Mind which is Thoughts cannot survive in the NOW, it collapses in the STILLNESS of the Present or NOW.
To Expect, is to Reject the NOW. Don't Expect anything and you will get Everything but be careful PRETENCE won't work here. Why, because the very Act of Expecting creates a Mental movement/block that prevents an Openness to Receive abundance, it's like the monkey whose hand is stuck in the bottle out of which the monkey is trying to pull out a banana by making a FIST out of its hand. To let go means To Trust the Universe and in this Letting Go is an implicit message to the Universe that says - I Trust you and No Force can stop from my getting what I DESERVE hence I relax and won't be chasing.
Does a new born baby Expect anything from its mother? Aren't all its needs automatically taken care of in the most loving way by that mother?
When exactly did we START Expecting in our lives, when did that SHIFT happen? 🤔
How do I know if I have Expectations?
By a simple excavating Self-Enquiry
- WHY exactly do I do what I do? 🤔
This is the Secret of Seeking Through Non-Seeking. This is the crux of Gita.

Pain & Suffering
Suffering is to do more with the Mind, it is something that nobody else can cause to you, it is always Self-Made, you alone are responsible for your Suffering. Suffering is Illusory, meaning NOT Existential and is caused purely because of Wrong Understanding or Bad Software. Suffering cannot be fought to eradicate, it just needs to be Seen Clearly that it does not actually exist , it is just a Ghost/Bhoot.
Pain on the other hand is very Real, to do with the Body, it is Existential and NOT Illusory. Pain can be both Self-Inflicted and Caused By Others. This is one of the strongest reasons why it is recommended to stick to Veg food to avoid violation of the basic Law/Dharma of 'Donot do to others what you do not want others to do to you'.
On the question of whether eating Non-Veg is a Sin, the simple answer is instead of looking at it as Sin or Virtue, it is more of a Technical thing. Nature is built on some Rules/Laws just like Gravity etc which is similar to our Judiciary, there are laws and there are loopholes. An expert Lawyer knows how to Navigate the system, to play with the Rules and Bend them as necessary, likewise an advanced Yogi who understands Nature better can play with the Laws of Nature. This said, until one becomes an expert in Understanding Nature/Judiciary, it is best to play Safe, meaning play by the Rules otherwise Trouble awaits for the Novice ☺️.

Thinking is Personal but Understanding is Impersonal
For a lot of people these two words i,e Thinking & Understanding are almost interchangeable, almost like synonyms. While this is so, the difference could not be starker.
When you upload a video onto a youtube server, it is like adding a drop of water into the ocean. Though the act of uploading is individual/personal, the destination/server is a collective/Impersonal space.
On the contrary when you download a video from a youtube server, the journey is from a collective/impersonal space to a local personal space which is a smartphone/laptop.
So is it with Thinking and Understanding.
Understanding is Impersonal like the Common Server receiving the Uploaded videos while Thinking is very Personal just like Downloading because a specific individual does it.
The kind of videos uploaded determine the overall quality or the texture of Understanding or the Server and one's Choice of downloads creates a trail of Impressions/Vasanas in the form of suggested videos for next time just so like our Thinking Patterns.
Though the Server literally has a million varieties/types of videos, what one downloads/watches is limited/determined by one's watching history, essentially by one's Vasanas or past impressions.
Everytime you Understand something valuable/interesting you are contributing to the Global Consciousness, meaning you are bettering the Quality of Thoughts of the entire world in a small, may be delta but significant scale because the Server is common for all videos.
Thinking is Local but Understanding is Global. Thinking happens in a personal space but Understanding happens in a common space for all. Wrong Thinking impacts an individual whereas Wrong Understanding impacts the larger space, the world. Every time you Understand something new, especially in the direction of Common Good you are Contributing to the Well being of the world and Vice-Versa is true as well. Hence Whatever it is, Right Understanding is not only a good to have but a Responsibility.
One's Actions are a result of his/her Understanding and NOT Thinking. While Thinking is just like Subtitles, Understanding is the real Script that runs the show ☺️.
What you Think impacts yourself while what you Understand impacts the World ☺️

He is intelligent and is NOT caught in the story and sees that Ravana has 10 heads hence more Gold 😉

Context over Content
The Past is a Memory experienced NOW and the Future is an Expectation/Desire experienced NOW. In either case, in Actuality, there is only the NOW but the Mind forgets the Context of the NOW and gets carried away or gets hijacked by the Content of the Past or the Future because of our Attachment to either a Memory of the Past or the Expectation/Desire of the Future thereby channeling our ATTENTION into the Content of the Memory or the Expectation, thereby creating Guilt & Fear accordingly.
Nobody has ever gone into the Past or can go into the Future literally.
Its all just a Game of our Attention and the only challenge is to Dock our Attention into the Context which is the NOW and NOT the Content.

The same reflects in Human Society as is currently happening with Artificial Intelligence, there is no scope for INERTIA in this Universe.
Its easy to identify and overcome Physical or Tamasic Obstacles because they are visible in plain sight but being in a Comfort Zone is like a Satvic Obstacle, almost invisible, most of us do not even realise when we are stuck in it, is the biggest danger and causes the Highest Harm for our Evolution.

The mechanism of Hurt
Questioning is an art and in the way of asking the question itself the answer could be excavated.
What meets the insult due to which hurt happens? - wow that is a beautiful way to inquire.
To get hurt, in its most simplest sense may mean to get damaged/broken isn't it?
This implies something (relatively) fixed getting broken. Existentially speaking broken/unbroken is all same (like for a Sthitha Prajna, one established in Awareness), it's only in the interpretation of the so called 'broken' as hurt that trouble starts and to interpret means duality which means mind (as thoughts) and thereby conflict.
So what is (apparently) Fixed?
The notion of I/Me appears fixed.
Why does it appear Fixed?
The I/Me, the sense of Agency or Ego is a survival necessity for the body on the physical level, a certain identification with the body. The problem starts when, as a habit (and habit means Unconscious), one tends to carry this I/Me-ness from the physical into the psychological space where fixed-ness or anchoring is an illusion.
When such an illusory but a limited necessity idea, the Ego or a certain Essence/Juice/Extract of the collection of memories with which one identifies* (means stretched beyond its zone of necessity or jurisdiction) oneself meets 'insult', hurt happens.
When Pure/Choiceless Awareness meaning a Directionless Awareness meaning Fixed-less where there is no scope for identification like how an animal/plant meets insult there is no hurt whatsoever. The only slight difference being animals/plants are passive whereas a human being can and should do the same Actively/Consciously.
When there is an Understanding, an Insight, a Seeing Through into the Fixed-less-ness nature of the psychological identity/entity that we call Ego where is the scope for Hurt?
*Identification - The next step would be to explore what exactly Identification is in all its intricacy?

Before we even delve into whether Observation can reduce the strength of Emotions/Attachments, the more basic question is Are we, in the first place even Aware of our Emotions/Attachments?
To deal with anything, the prerequisite is first to be Conscious of them isn't it? To know their structures, their intricacies intimately is more than half the job done isn't it?
In the rush of our lives, most of us hardly make an attempt to know/recognise these emotions/attachments though they act as barriers, they cloud our thinking, pollute and overshadow our entire lives by residing in the darkest and innermost recesses of our Minds seeking our Attention every now and then but then we take them for granted and continue, making suffering a part/parcel of our lives.
Question - What happens when they are brought out into the light of my Awareness?
Generally we say,
I am attached
I am jealous
I am happy
I am angry
I am greedy etc etc
In essence we are saying
Attached = Me
Jealous = Me
Happy= Me
So on... so forth right?
Our general approach to deal with emotions/attachments is by saying
I want to get rid of My Attachments
Or
I want to get rid of My Emotions.
In this there is an implicit admission that I/Me is different/separate from My Attachments/Emotions but is this separation a FACT or an IDEA/CONCEPT?
To Observe this Fact of Attachment and NOT an Abstracted Idea of the Attachment is where the real secret lies.
What does it mean to Observe a Fact?
When one looks at a Tree/Flower, to look at it, look at the Fact Without Any Distortion, with Absolute Objectivity is Observation.
What is Distortion?
To look at something, may be a Tree or our Attachment to a thing through the SCREEN of our Bias, Prejudice, Like, Dislike, Motive etc etc is Distortion.
To look at a Tree/Attachment WITHOUT Naming it and NOT moving away from the Fact is Observation, on the contrary looking at the description or the idea of Tree/Attachment is Distortion.
In such an Observation, is there a Division (Duality) between the Observed (Attachments) and the Observer(Me)? Absolutely Not isn't it? In such an Observation, one realises Attachment is Me which means there is Nothing that I can DO about it because It is Me and NOT separate from Me. Anything I do will be like a dog chasing it's own tale isn't it?
That leaves us with just Observation of the Fact that Attachment = Me, isn't it?
In such a Pure Observation or Choiceless Awareness without any Direction, where one is NOT dissipating one's Energies in suppressing, escaping from, justifying, denying, resisting or sublimating Attachments/Emotions, there is Gathering of all Energies and in this Energy, a Mutation or Dissolution of the Attachments/Emotions happens.
Only when there is a Lack of Energy, is there Attachment. Only the Unitelligent, only those who don't see the full implications of Attachment get Attached. Only the Unaware jump off the cliff, the Aware immediately move away from the danger. Attachments are a danger because they breed Fear, Anxiety, Jealousy, Hatred etc
Attachments/Emotions cannot be dealt with an Act of Imposition or Masking but only through an Act of Emergence, letting them Emerge into a Space of Pure Awareness, this is the key.
Do we ever pause to realise how ENMESHED our INTERIORITY is in the web of Attachments/Emotions throwing away Integrity, Compassion and Sensitivity like silly things and the toll they take on us before it is too late? 🤔

WAKING UP from the Dream.
karmanye vadhikaaraste ma phalesu kadhachana
ma karma phala hetur bhurmateh sangostva akarmani
We have all heard from time immemorial, in all ancient scriptures that Life is a Dream. Even Science is more or less today coming to a similar conclusion. In this context how does this shloka from Gita fit into this perspective?
If we observe keenly every ordinary 24 hrs day that each of us experience regularly is like a Microcosm of the Macrocosmic Universe. In the sense, a typical Day is like a compressed version of an entire Lifecycle. Birth, Dream, Death, Rebirth are all mimicked on a smaller scale in our typical ordinary Day.
Waking up in the morning is Birth, followed by Daydreaming through the day by way of Thinking called Jaagrutaawastha and Night dreaming which is Thinking during sleep called the REM sleep or Swapnaawastha , followed by Deepsleep or Dreamless-sleep/No-Thinking sleep called Sushuptaawastha in which we lose even our most fundamental Identity of I/ME which is equivalent to Death and then followed by Waking up next morning, like a Reboot which is Rebirth thus traversing the entire Lifecycle each and everyday.
This, we call Life, in general parlance called The Grind and very aptly so because of its cyclical and monotonous nature. Cyclical because physically it's the same sunrise/sunset routine and Monotonous because psychologically we hardly do anything Different In Essence day after day other than superficial changes to our routine of eating/sleeping/entertainment/drama etc etc other than SOPHISTICATION of the routine.
Am I saying we stop doing this?
Absolutely NOT.
What's The Point? 🤔
The fact that we realise that it's a Grind and we are NOT going anywhere despite journeying day in and day out is an indication of a deeper reality hence the adage ' Life feels like a Dream' resonates with more or less all of us at some or the other point of time in our lives.
Here is where the Gita shloka comes into relevance, Gita's call to us to Wake up from this Dream.
How does one Wake up from any dream?
As long as one is interested in a dream the dream continues.
What Binds one to his/dream?
A Motive, An Agenda, An Outcome, An Expectation or in short a DESIRE isn't it?
The essence of this shloka is to Free Oneself from the Desire of the Result/Outcome. The power of the Dream to hold us from Waking Up is in its weapon of keeping us TRAPPED in Desires/Expectations. As soon as one is freed from Expectations, the Dream throws that individual out of its Dreamworld because such an individual is useless to the Dream, that useless individual is what we call a Sthitha-Prajna ☺️
A Sthitha-Prajna is someone who does ABSOLUTELY everything that is required but is divested of Expectations. Such an individual is called THE AWAKENED , one who is no longer bound by the Rope of Expectation that which keeps him/her enslaved to the Dreamworld.
Is it POSSIBLE TO LIVE without Expectations at all? 🤔
Will explore more next time on this.

This is exactly how the NOW or AWARENESS feels, one begins to SEE things, events, situations AS IS without the filter of the MIND, this is clarity, this is what it means to be Truly Alive, rest of the time we are like dead, like automatic robots, enmeshed by the highs/lows of Emotions, played upon by Mood swings, just UNCONSCIOUSLY reacting 😊

AHIMSA - Most Misunderstood concept.
Ahimsa Paramo Dharmaha, Dharma Himsa Thathaiva Cha
Translates to
Non-Violence is the highest Dharma, so too is Violence in the Service of Dharma.
If there is ONE REASON that is to be attributed to all the foreign invasions, the torture, the sufferings, the injustice that Bharata underwent in the last 1000+ years, it is this word Ahimsa. The word by itself is not the culprit but the way it has been understood to one's convenience to suit one's selfish goals, one's greed, one's moha (attachments) and most importantly one's disgusting cowardly-ness.
This has been the greatest Indian Hypocrisy, caught in the trap of Just Me and Mine, we have conveniently forgotten the nobler ideal of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. With its spirit dead, it has remained just a phrase to decorate our language. It is not necessary and possible also that each of us have to go to the battleground but if it does not even cause a ripple in our life just because it happened in a far off place or no family of mine is affected, is not there something seriously wrong with us?
The biggest irony is, Bhagavadgita, the heart of our Dharma happened in a WAR SETTING, at its very peak moment and NOT in a cosy courtroom or studyroom. Krishna is goading, coercing and insisting that Arjuna kill the enemies, yes Krishna says in no uncertain terms, Go for the Kill.
Despite this, why did India fall for foreign invasions? The only answer is the convenient interpretation of Ahimsa, deliberate ignorance due to selfishness, greed and moha of the ME and the Mine and use this as a mask for OUR COWARDLY-NESS.
Ahimsa does not mean just Non-Violence but it always has a context . We have ingrained this Wrong Understanding of Ahimsa for generations and are propagating it further into our next generations as well, making our kids literally useless in facing life. The fact of the matter is Ahimsa is possible only if one has the Capability To Take Some STRONG ACTION otherwise it is a cowardly human's easy refuge to escape from situations. An incapable person's call for Ahimsa is the BIGGEST SIN.
Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitaha
ANYTHING done to protect Dharma at whatever level, even if it means the opposite of Ahimsa, it is considered Real Dharma.
Unfortunately, most readers of Bhagavadgita don't contemplate enough in understanding this core aspect of Dharma and invisiblise the fact that the Gita happened in a War Setting and the Greatest Message Of Gita more than its 700 verses put together is it's VERY LOCATION.
This is NOT a call for VIOLENCE but a shout out to shed the stupid/foolish understanding of the concept of Ahimsa and realise that Life means Conflict, at every level both the physical survival and the psychological battles that we encounter day in and day out, any attempt to escape this or run away from confronting the Truth of Life is sheer ugliness and utmost cowardly-ness and kindly let us NOT do it in the name of Ahimsa 🙏.

Deconstructing FRUSTRATION & PATIENCE
Frustration is not an exclusive domain of the 'mere mortals or the ignorant', even a Buddha or a Krishna, meaning the sages or gods are not emancipated completely from it. If a Buddha or a Krishna was cornered into a small enclosed room full of dirt, mosquitoes etc, it's only a matter of time before some expression of that Frustration manifests.
The point is, Frustration is as much an intrinsic part of this physical nature as the physical body itself. Does this mean the sages also suffer due to Frustration?
The real difference lies in the way of Expression of this Frustration between the Sages and the Ignorant. A Sage, as wise as he/she is, Sees through it with Awareness, understands the Essence, the mechanism of Frustration, how it works, Why and When it actually happens and Realises this to be a part and parcel of Nature's integral process and thereby ACCEPTS it and with Intelligence adapts to deal with it appropriately, gives an Expression that is most Effective.
The whole Game is about AWARENESS. Awareness is that medicine which when effectively applied, is that Light which when shone, changes the Nature of things/situations most magically. The word Ignorant does not mean lack of knowledge but it actually means Lack of Awareness. We don't investigate, ask Why it happens the way it happens, in the true Scientific Spirit, instead RUSH into Solution mode without understanding the Root or the Real Nature of the Problem, the real secret is to STAY WITH IT OBJECTIVELY without escaping, avoiding, justifying or complaining , Embrace It, Make Alliance With It😊
Prajnanaam Brahma
This mahavakya says it all, Awareness is the ultimate substratum. Unfortunately, most of us are conditioned into Mechanical modes of Thinking, looking for ready made or easy answers, just getting satisfied with answers from outside instead of self-investigation, choosing Solace over Solutions .
Frustration is not an Event in time, rather a series of smaller minute Violations of Nature's laws or a series of mis-alignments with What Is , accumulated over time like droplets of water and exploding on the slightest of unrelated Triggers and thereby Blaming the Triggers.
Essence & Expression
Frustration just like other so called vicious qualities like Greed, Hatred, Anger, Lust etc etc are NOT bad in Essence , they are only bad/good in the form of their Expression. The crux of the matter is how Sages utilise these so called Vices as Tools/Means to achieve their Goals, first by Becoming Aware of them (by creating a certain distance between Me and my Vice) and then Channelizing them most Effectively, at the Right Time and In Right Conditions in a Regulated Manner, this is what is colloquially called PATIENCE .

What is unconditional ACCEPTANCE?
On a superficial level it is mostly simply equated to Doing Nothing Physically and resigning to whatever happens in life, but is it really so?

There is absolutely no ambiguity that the Violation of a RED signal is Wrong but if an Ambulance violated the same to save a life it is kind of justified by giving it a context of a higher Right. This makes it clear that Right and Wrong are dependent on (Individuals or Collective's/Society's) Subjective Perspective.
While these Rights/Wrongs are Subjective, the question is, is there an Absolute Ri…
[8:58 AM, 4/19/2025] Kiranbabu: Firstly, Life is a Seamless Flow period, NOT of Events, Events are constructs of our Minds only.
Right/Wrong, Good/Bad etc have their place in the Practical world, they are very useful to navigate in our World/Life. Breaking a RED signal is 100% Wrong/Bad period, this is True on a Transactional level.
Our White Blood Cells are in a constant state of Conflict to protect us right? A Conflict on their level is an Harmonising action at a Human level isn't it?
In the larger picture, how many times in our experience have we not from hindsight felt that a particular Event that was labelled as failure/success turned out to be a blessing/curse in disguise?
The question is where are you viewing the picture/match from?
Ground/Gallery/Upper/Grandstand/Premium or a Drone?
Or an INTELLIGENT mix of these, shifting as/when required but getting stuck in NEITHER?
CONCLUSIONs of any kind are the root of all problems, why Conclude at all when all we know is just a fragment of the Total Picture?

One of the most common pieces of advice most of us get is asking us to ACCEPT life as is, right?
'As is' in this context generally implies that Life IS a mixture of Happiness/Sorrow, Good/Bad, Highs/Lows and various analogies like Day/Night etc etc are usually given to justify this.
is this really so or is it a lazy person's Defeatist Conclusion/Attitude? 🤔
This BELIEF is so ingrained in us that we NEVER QUESTION it further, like this is an Existential Truth, like shifting the blame onto Nature for creating such a miserable life.
Simple Question - If life really was a mixture then who decides the breakup percentage?
Yes, Pain and Pleasure are (relatively) real but the biggest malaise for Humanity is Suffering and there are Pain-Killers for Pain but no Suffering-Killers, why, because unlike Pain, Suffering is NOT real, NOT Existential, it's only a Ghost in our Minds, it's My personal story, My Narrative, My perspective ONLY.
Interestingly, did you know Bhooth(kaal), the hindi/sanskrit word is the same for Past and Ghost, the Past is the Ghost 😇.
Remember the Baby Elephant tied to a small stick which never tried to break away even after it became big story?
ACCEPTANCE
It is not about Accepting this Binary view of Life but to go deeper and SEE that Life is actually NOT a Binary but a Seamless Flow.
Example - We generally define Life as a series of Events but ever wondered what an Event is?
In an otherwise seamless flow of Life how does one mark the beginning/end of an Event and then attach importance to it?
Even if multiple people are put through a common experience, each one's defining of significant/insignificant Events will be different from the other isn't it?
This clearly indicates that Events/Incidents are NOT something that Objectively Exist out there, rather a product of My Personal Story, My World only.
ACCEPTANCE is not on a superficial level of this Binary but to SEE before Labelling Events/Incidents/Situations as Happiness/Suffering, to step back and SEE them as they are before rushing to wrap My Story around them, to SEE without the Word/Language, to SEE without the Memory/Past Bhooths ☺️

Why Motive* (he uses the word Aim for Motive) is the Real Culprit in all our lives, has been most beautifully explained in this video.
May need multiple viewings to understand the profundity of this very fantastically made video.
How Motive/Aim distorts the Reality and gives an incorrect picture of the World/Surroundings around us and how this cascades into chaos, has been graphically illustrated most precisely here.
Nature/World is NOT What We See but How We See. This may sound nothing more than just like an interesting punchline but it's real Transformative power can be understood only when one truly contemplates on it with all Earnestness.
Nature JUST IS, without any ATTRIBUTES. No-Thing or Situation has any meaning by itself in Nature, still worse if one wants to go deeper down the Rabbit Hole, the FACT is, there are NO Things/Situations/Events at all in the first place, its all just a Seamless Flow.
It is ME, the Mind that colours the Existence with Attributes/Flavours depending on my Past. To See things Just as They Are, without corrupting/colouring with content of ME is the Highest Intelligence.

How much time/effort would you generally spend on your Vehicle Maintenance? If it's more than 5 to 10% then is it worth having that Vehicle?
Likewise, if you are spending more than 5 to 10% of your Life's time/effort in Transactions then you are hardly living your Life isn't it?
TRANSACTIONS include anything to do with Money, Maintenance & Operations and NOT for the Sheer Joy Of Living Life.
If your life is dominated by transactions instead of experiences, relationships, creativity, purpose, or joy — you might be optimizing for the wrong thing.

Anatomy of an Ambition
Ambition (to Become/Achieve something) when distilled to its essence, is basically a Desire/Motive isn't it?
More than Right/Wrong, every Choice comes with its own consequences pleasant/unpleasant depending on the place/level of Origin of the Choice.
What does a Desire/Motive implicitly mean?
An acknowledgement of a State of Lack that one is in right? Its like saying the NOW is Not sufficient hence I put efforts to bring Sufficiency through Ambition/Desire.
It is also a way of saying that the Universe is Wrong in not giving what I deserve.
LACK & EFFORTS, both are indication of Illusion. An illusion means Not Seeing Through properly that in reality there is No Lack at all, it is only a misunderstanding on a superficial level.
How does one fix an Illusion or a Ghost?
Never by fighting/effort but only by Realising/Understanding that there is No Lack at all because one can't fight something that does NOT exist.
Why this Illusion?
All of this is built upon a much more deeper Illusion that I am a Separate Entity/Self, like a Wave thinking that it is separate from the Ocean. Can one pluck a Wave out of an Ocean?
Is the PERSON a fixed entity at all or is it a label for an Activity/Process?
Ambition/Desire is a problem because Evidence says it's ground itself is an Illusion, yes it feels otherwise but it is only a feeling based on ignorance.
So then what happens to Evolution/Improvement/Progress without Desire/Ambition?
Life happens Organically, meaning like an Inside-Out process and NOT like an external Goal driven process.
Growth/Improvement should be an Expression of an Inner expansive Abundance, like a how a Tree Grows, Milk overflows (on boiling), best of all like a Flower Blossoming as a consequence (as against being a Goal) of Nurturing the plant.
Now it is very crucial to understand that Goals are a legitimate part of Practical world, the above elaboration is more about the Psychological wanting to BECOME or the sense of DOING rather than Seeing it as Happening, like an IMPERSONAL seeing.

In my understanding/experience Krishna always chose the Right over the Convenient whereas Duryodhana just did the opposite.
Right means To make/enable Happen what is Necessary, that which is Needed, NOT for ME but for the situation, Objectively, even if it means inconvenience (mind you, NOT Suffering) for me.
Duryodhana's life was all about himself, the petty little ME, the Separate Self, the Individual, like a silo, thereby OTHERING the entire world but if one observes Krishna's entire life, the events, the incidents, the decisions, it was All Oriented towards, yes well being of individuals too but as Part of a larger Symphony, Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.
Duryodhana's Actions originated from a place of Attachment (the root of all Corruption), be it attachment to family, kingdom, power or his own ideas/opinions, leading to Poor Decisions.
Krishna was Absolutely Objective & Practical, explore why he is called Ran-Chod or why/when he left Radha & Yashodha, it's interesting, gives a glimpse of his impeccable Objective approach to Life, NO nonsense whatsoever, Understanding and Accepting the limitations of the physical world and Playing by the Rules to Bend the Rules, like a Master Strategist.
Duryodhana's life was full of REACTIONS whereas Krishna's originated from a place of Creative ACTION.
Impersonal/Person-al
It is not a crime/sin to work towards one's individual happiness but it matters where where this Action originates from? Meaning, if an Action originated with the Primary Goal of individual happiness even at the cost of ignoring the larger schema, Conflict/Karma is created. On the other hand if an Action with an Impersonal Origin results in an individual happiness that's absolutely fine, Nishkama because here individual's happiness was just a consequence. In this sense Duryodhana's vs Krishna's Actions differed in their Person-al/Impersonal Nature.
Why PERSON-al Goal is a problem?
Will explore next time.
Means vs Ends
Yes, Krishna also used Kutila Neeti just like Duryodhana but the subtle difference is, unlike Duryodhana's, Krishna's usage was just as a MEANS, a limited application, like a TOOL to achieve a Greater Good.
FLUIDITY, yes just like water taking the shape of its container, that is an apt word to emphasize the relevance of Gita in not only different people's lives but at different times of an individual's life as well.
The Paradox of Gita
Why Bhagavad- GITA, a Song? 🤔
Probably, it is an indication of a certain INTIMACY, like in a relationship of Family, like Mother-Child, like Lovers, like Friends there is a certain Warmth, Care & Concern and NOT just cold-instructions. This being said, krishna does NOT treat Arjuna like a kid as well because at the end, he says, having told everything, the Final Decision is YOURS, the message being don't always look upto someone to run your life, take all the inputs from wherever, digest/assimilate it and Decide for Yourself, a pointing to Human Freedom.
Also, to be noted is the apparent coincidence or NOT that the dialogue happened in a Battlefield and that too at its Peak Moment and NOT in a Boardroom or in a King's Courtyard. This is an Unmistakable reinforcing of the relevance of Gita in Live Action, Real Time and not as an Academic exercise or a Prescriptive Text. It is very crucial how one Integrates this in our Daily lives, like adding Salt to a dish, thereby bringing a change in one's Fundamental Nature/Perspective towards Life.

Sathish, in a beautiful conversation with Richard Dawkins brings out the subtleties of Advaita. Richard is the author of the best seller 'The God Delusion'.
The conversation is quite immersive in the way Sathish describes the 'is-ness' of things which he refers to as the 'spirit' while Richard appears perplexed to see the same from his 'materialist' point of view.
Overall, it is a loving ☺️ conversation though both seem to be poles apart in their viewpoints.
One critical point that Sathish brought out was the Unity of things. As long as I consider myself as a separate entity from the Universe, I can never ATTEND to it with the same level of love/care/concern as I would if it were part of me. The sense of extreme 'individualism' in the West, that of a separate entity has got the world to the brink we are today at.
The world is NOT what we see but 'How we see'.
The Tree-ness or the Rock-ness is what we call Identity in common parlance.
In actuality, the Tree/Rock/I does NOT exist as an Entity but only as an Activity . The Tree is a 'continuous' coming together of it's constituent elements or ecosystem. The day this Activity stops, we say the Tree has died, same with I.
So what explains Richards's assertion/perspective of 'Tree as a separate/independent object'?
This is where comes the 'conditioning' of our minds. Since our mind is disintegrated into a multiplicity of objects (like conflicting thoughts, feelings, emotions etc), the world appears disintegrated or as a collection of separate objects apparently. 'Yatha drishti tatha Srishti' ☺️.
This explains the importance of 'Integrity' (remember Integrity constraint in DBMS) that is often talked about. To maintain Integrity is to 'stay integrated' as One Continuum in the mind and not fragmented or divided because any division inevitably leads to conflict, for example the bipolar disorder is a result of this disintegration of the mind. Honestly speaking, all of us are Bipolar/Multipolar to an extent just that the degree is not disruptive enough ☺️.
It is essential to note that the concept of 'Rama' is a representation of this 'Integrity' metaphorically.

Instead of Trying (or Struggling) to be Good or Bad or Right or Wrong or Kind or Cruel or Simple or Complex or a Zillion other things, just Be Childlike(not Childish 🥴).
JUST BE AUTHENTIC, it is absolutely Effortless, its the True YOU ☺️.
Authenticity without fear of outcomes/consequences is The Swadharma of Gita.
Action coming out of such Authenticity can lead to Pain but never Suffering.
Pain? Yes, pain is Nature's way of emptying/dispensing Karma but most of us try to escape pain and end up in longer suffering.
Remember there are Pain-Killers available but NO Suffering-Killers 😇.
Chaava Movie
(Technical Analysis)
Without getting into the politics of it, Sambhaji despite being extremely tortured, stood his ground, the question is where did he get his strength from?
His source of strength was his firm standing in his Swadharma, his Action being absolutely Authentic was his secret to withstand that unimaginable extreme torture/mutilation.
Am sure like me, many of us must have thought if it's Humanly possible to ensure such torture?
There are many similar historic anecdotes and even prisoner stories that stand witness to Authenticity/Swadharma.
Whether it is Rama, Harischandra, Jesus or Sambhaji, the magic was in their Authenticity.
How to determine Authenticity?
Actions that leave NO regrets, guilt or fear are Authentic. Even if the external circumstances dont seem to be going our way, there is an Unmistakable Sense of Inner Peace, Stability & Tranquility. A Tiger would never regret killing and eating a Deer but would regret if it ate Grass/Leaves.
Where does this Sense spring from?
Everything one way or the other boils down to one's Inner Integrity. Integrity means to be Integrated with the Cosmos, to be in Sync, that is True Advaita, there is no second.

Karmanye Vaadhikaaraste.....
Does this mean to become less Ambitious?
Does this mean to become a Minimalist?
Does this mean become Non-Progressive?
Is this a Moral edict, like a Preaching?
Essentially, does this mean to encourage Non-Result orientedness?
ABSOLUTELY NOT.
Since times immemorial, knowledge has always had two broad categories, the Exoteric and the Esoteric and for appropriate reasons.
The road to hell is paved with good intentions. 😔
This shloka, probably the Heart/Soul of Gita is also the most misunderstood or diluted, by a reductionist understanding.
Firstly, it is important to comprehend that this is not a moral guideline but a hardcore Science Postulate. As we know the Universe is literally Infinite, the simple question is how then anyone can Expect a certain pre-determined Outcome/Goal in an Infinite Universe?
Impossible isn't it?
Why, because of its Infinite (equals Unknown) nature, any disruption can happen any moment. Hence BINDING oneself to any Outcome/Goal is simply Naive/Stupidity, only Guarantees Suffering .
This said, one wonders how then with such Uncertainty does one live Life?
Simplest answer - Control what you can and Accept what you can't. ☺️
Yes, very simple, but the only real challenge here is to identify that Boundary between the Known and the Unknown, the Dance of Balance, isn't this what Life is all about?
Broadly speaking, in the practical/physical aspects of life we do experience a reasonable amount of Certainty or at least Probability, isn't it?
Examples -
When I take an Uber Taxi, I need a Destination/Goal/Outcome.
When I do a job, I need a Salary.
To live Life, rather to Thrive we need a certain Security/Guarantee of basics like Food/Shelter/Clothing/Safety etc, only then can one explore the Higher isn't it?
It's extremely critical to realise that this shloka is NOT about the Practical Needs but more about the Psychological Security.
While it is possible to achieve a reasonable Safety/Guarantee in the physical/functional world, we should AVOID the illusion of extrapolating this into the Psychological realm.
The only Psychological Security lies in the wholehearted ACCEPTANCE of Uncertainty in this space.
Examples
To Expect that a certain Relationship will go in a particular way.
To Expect that my child will take this pre-determined route only.
So Krishna summarises, in areas where you Cannot Control, put your best foot forward Honestly, with utmost Sincerity ( not hypocritically), whole heartedly, with your FULL UNDIVIDED ATTENTION in the NOW, in the Action , thereby relieving yourself of the Outcome. The technical thing is to NOT waste any ATTENTION on the Outcome as we know it's Uncertainty, that's nature.
Finally, this shloka is not about giving up Results or developing a Lackadaisical attitude to Life. Rather, this is a call to Live Life to its fullest, giving one's Heart/Soul to this NOW, the PRESENT instead of wasting energy in Speculating about Future.
When one Lives a Life of Integrity , one realises how Organic Life actually is, No Decisions to make, it's a Beautiful FLOW, all one needs to do is tighten one's seatbelt and Enjoy the Ride like a King/Queen ☺️

Body/Mind as a Drone or an Avatar in a Game 🤔
When Gita talks about the Non-Doer thing or the need to be Non-Goal oriented in Life, most of us presume that this a moral preaching, more like a 'nice thing to do' but in reality is it just so?
To me, these are HARDCORE Scientific postulates, Krishna presenting the Truth of this Universe, he is actually indicating on how the Universe actually works.. It is not some optional religious teaching, it's how existence really is on the ground and any Non-Alignment means trouble or what is called Karma, as simple as that.
Science, even today has not found any solid/fixed fundamental material that the Universe is made of, Objects/Things don't actually exist, it is Quantum, Pure Potential only.
Just think, even scientifically how can anyone predict any Outcome in an Infinite Universe?
Karma in essence is the dues/fees/penalty (caused by the Illusion/Maya of Acting/Living like a Separate Entity called the Ego/Individual) that has to be paid to get back on track/sync, align back with the Universe.
Does this mean I have no Freedom at all? 🥴
It's important to explore this I before anything else. In its most simplistic form I or ME is the sum total of all that which when Hurt/Damaged, You get Hurt, basically anything/everything included where YOU have an Entangled (and NOT an Involved) Stake ?
Example - Anything happening to My body, My Family, My Property, My Car, My country, My Prestige, My Friends, My Enemies (yes ☺️) etc etc.
What does Stake mean?
Anything/Everything that gives ME my Identity, like a Frame of Who/What I think I am.
Freedom?
The Human Body is constantly churning out millions of chemical reactions, digestion, assimilation, excretion etc etc and the Human mind producing Thoughts, Emotions etc incessantly, how much of it is in my control?
So does the Body/Mind have Freewill? 🤔
(Atleast NOT my Body/Mind 😇)
Hmmm Sense of Freewill that we possess? 🤔
Ever operated a Drone?
The Body/Mind much like the Drone feels it is seeing/watching and has this sense of Absolute Freedom but in reality the Drone is just being operated from elsewhere, the Freedom of the Operator is falsely owned by the Drone, creating an Illusion of Free movement. The Operator in our case being the One Consciousness, which is what is actually Seeing what the Drone or Body/Mind thinks/feels it is seeing.
The Eyes donot see, it is Consciousness/Prajna that sees through the Eyes.
The Tongue does not taste, it is Consciousness that tastes through the Tongue.
The Ears donot hear, it is Consciousness that hears through the Ears.
So on, the whole Body/Mind is a machine through which The Consciousness operates, like how one operates through an Avatar in a Video Game.
Prajnanaam Brahma - Like how it is just Electricity that is making everything happen on all electronics, so is this Consciousness (the fundamental material) responsible for absolutely everything
Science is arriving here too ..
Classical world is how downloaded Quantum World looks like. Quantum Entanglement is proof of how everything is connected.
Body/Mind is what downloaded Consciousness looks like.
It is in this context, from a Body/Mind perspective that the Non-Doer and the Non-Outcome based actions take prominence, it is not just an advice from Krishna, it's a Fact that the Body/Mind is just playing the script but then the Sense of Identification keeps changing through the Day, through out our Life, like the gears of a car. There are times when we feel like One with the Universe, it is in such moments that one truly operates from a place of Freedom.
Hence the need to be Aware of my True Nature, to explore what this Consciousness is all about.
Knowing Thyself is the Ultimate chill thing to do ☺️

BUDDHA - Epitome of Human Potential.
There is hardly any place, across the globe where one will not find atleast a small image or idol of Buddha, if not as a god atleast as a sign of positivity or lucky charm.
While each of the great Beings, be it Rama, Krishna, Shiva, Jesus, Zoroaster etc etc exemplified a unique aspect of the Ultimate, Buddha embodied Innocence, Purity, Gentleness and above all Tranquility, so much so that he became a synonym for it. Here is a couple of unique things associated with Buddha.
First one -
It is a general practice to NOT put flowers on a Buddha's statue/image unlike other gods,
Ever Wondered why?
Flowers generally are representative of an Enlightened state, a state of ultimate Purity/Integrity. Almost anything/everything across religions/geographies is adorned with flowers, as an harbinger of Upliftment to a Higher state. A Buddha is considered to have reached such a High State that even Flowers themselves feel shy/short of, in front of a Buddha.
Second One -
According to the legend, Ananda was a cousin of The Buddha. When Buddha asked him to take monkhood, Ananda put a pre-condition that he would Be with Buddha 24x7 if he became a monk to which Buddha agreed. The essence of this legend, metaphorically is, while Humans chase Ananda (Bliss), Ananda itself was seeking Buddha. ☺️, such is the elevated state of a Buddha.
The point in narrating these is about a Human's potential, the kind of Inner Clarity/Purity that is possible for each of us, the Integrity, Antahakarana shuddhi that each of us is capable of.
Nothing is a limit until I make it a limit🙏

Living without Decisions - POSSIBLE?
Ever wondered how Life would be without ever having to make any Decisions? 🤔
Am sure most of us agree Decision Making is The Biggest Challenge in our lives. We seem to be making decisions at every step, every moment of our life Consciously/Unconsciously isn't it?
While some decisions appear trivial, some of them make us sleepless, right/wrong, guilt, regrets etc etc are some things generally associated with Decisions.
Is it even possible to Flow with Life without making Decisions? 🤔
Before we explore the answer for this question, there is a much more fundamental question.
Do we really make Decisions at all in the first place?
Or is it just a facade, an illusion that makes us think/feel that we take Decisions?
Ponder on this, chew for a while, will follow this with a detailed post later.

Art of Leisure & the Emergence of Artificial Intelligence
Many folks may take an objection to my calling Leisure as an Art. To the unassuming, it may sound almost like blasphemy, especially when we have traditionally grown up with lines like 'Work is Worship' etc and harder the work one does, more value is generally associated with them and any iota of desire for Leisure is quickly stereotyped as Laziness.
Before we dive deep into Leisure we have to comprehend what Work really means? If distilled to its basic essence what do we really mean by Work?
One of the simple definitions of Work is to put in physical/mental Effort to achive something. Effort in a way gives a sense of resistance or more roughly speaking, a kind of dislike. Evolution shows that Humans began working for Food Gathering (as hunters) and then we are Here today where Work has become Absolutely Ubiquitous, like an imperative, almost a SIN to say jobless.
With all the recent banter in the media about Work, does it not feel like Human Beings have reached a Point of Inflexion w.r.t Work, to review its current place in our lives and reassess the same.
Are Human Beings Born to Work'? 🤔
Work means Doing something and if we were born to work we should have more appropriately been called Human Doings 🥴 isn't it?
Does this mean we Stop Working? 🤪
Well, Life is not black/white, the secret is in the grey zone, the Dance of Balance.
The core problem is not Work itself, it's what we have associated work with, the name/fame/prestige/power or the ' am Busy Syndrome 'etc etc which in essence has become our Identity.
Work, like anything else has its designated place in our Life and giving it its place is the real Art of Living Life. Unfortunately, this association with Identity has inextricably messed up our psyche so much so that most people would go crazy without work even if there was No Need to Work. Work has become this Frankenstein monster that has gripped our Lives. With Technological Revolution, we have millions in today's world who yearn to be free from work in their deepest core but cannot disentangle themselves despite having reached Self Sufficiency Financially or otherwise.
This is when Nature takes charge and we have stuff like Artificial Intelligence forcing Humans to course correct. Now, with this Emergence of AI, we Humans have no option but to learn the Art of Leisure as required.
Exploring Leisure....
Leisure is not about escaping work but to give Work it's due place in Life and getting Sorted on the Physical/Mental levels, to explore the Core of who we are, The Being , we are called Human Beings ( not doings ) right 😇.
Leisure is when one is NOT in a hurry to accomplish/become something.
With the Infinity of the Cosmos lying bare, Leisure means Totally sorted on the phenomenal level, ready for the Quantum jump into the Unknown.
To be in Leisure is to be Available to the Highest in our Body/Mind completely, to Let It Be
To be in Leisure is to Attend to Nature, to our Being with all Sincerity .
This is not about advocating Non-Work or Laziness but about Conscious Work. Our course of history has been nudging Humanity in this very direction - from hunting to mechanical to information revolution, with AI hitting the last nail.
As there is going to be lesser and lesser work for Humans in the Future, it becomes necessary to learn the Art of Leisure, to relish Life as is, to experience the Stillness at the core of what appears to be a hectic/moving Life.
The Art of Doing Nothing is the greatest art. This is the reason our Great ancient Rishis, after exploring Life in all its grandeur said Just Sit Down and Be yourself ☺️

Sounds very counter intuitive? 🤔
What is a Thought?
Just like a Wave is to the Oceanic water so is a Thought to Universal Consciousness.
A Wave has a Nama-Roopa, a Name and a Form and this forms the basis of this Phenomenal world. Every Wave by its very nature of origin is limited both in space and time isn't it? Likewise, every Thought is only a Perspective, an Angle of view which essentially means Limited too isn't it? So if a Thought is a Limited Perspective, meaning only Partial Information how can it ever result in a Wholistic Action?
By Wholistic, we mean an Action without any Conflicts, in complete Harmony with the Cosmic Flow of Life. Yes, every Thought is a Cosmic Event but a limited Event only because a Thought can never see the whole picture.
What is True Intelligence?
There is a general Notion in which Accumulation of Information is considered Intelligence but is it really so?
This Accumulation can be called the Intellect and yes it has utilitarian value but Intelligence is totally something else.
The Intellect is limited, specific to the individual and is a result of Linear Time but Intelligence is Universal. The Intellect is a dead/mechanical thing i,e Memory, can be utilised through Algorithms. This Intellect when expanded to a large scale becomes what we call Artificial Intelligence (name is a misnomer, should be called Artificial Intellect because it is only a Reflection, can never be Original). On the other hand, Intelligence is Alive, Truly Original, Infinite and Totally Wholistic. Anything emerging out of this Intelligence is always Harmonious.
What then if NOT Thought? 🤔
While Thought has its place in the Practical aspects of Life, its application is Limited. Though it has an Horizontal Infinite Nature, it is not Truly Infinite. Only Intelligence, that emerges from the Silence of our Minds can give real comprehensive Solutions. When one Consciously moves from Doing to Being, from that Beingness Emerges Intelligence, it cannot be summoned inorganically, it can only be Realised, Witnessed like the Blossoming of a Flower when one's Life is in Total Order, when One is truly Integrated with the Cosmos/Nature, when one Lives in True Integrity. ☺️

KARMA - Purity and Impurity
More than Purity/Impurity, which is a sort of morally judging things, the crucial aspect is to look at things as Efficient or Inefficient, a rather more technical/objective approach to life. Any (Re)Action that causes Friction leaves RESIDUE , this is what Karma is all about and the whole idea of Nishkama Karma is Action without Friction .
There could be multiple ways of achieving this but before we get to that we need clarity on what is this Friction and between whom is this Friction?🤔.
To put it simplistically, there is this Universe/World and there is this so called Individual i,e the Me and the World (or the Other) and our whole challenge is how to harmonize My individual Actions with the larger World/Universe, to reduce Friction or make it Frictionless or Efficient.
Is this only a Human problem?
Do Animals, Plants also have this challenge?
It does not appear so and the reason for this is the 'Idea of a Separate Self/Individual' which is a limited domain of the Human only. Animals/Plants don't seem to have this sense of Me or the Ego or the Agency hence No Need to Harmonize, by default they are in Harmony with the larger Cosmos.
Is this (Ego) Good or Bad?
While the Ego is mostly used in a Negative sense, always kind of demonising it, there is a reason why we Humans have developed this. Just like any Tool, the Ego (a Sense of Freewill) is a necessity for the Physical Being, to Survive and later Thrive . Fortunately/Unfortunately, Freedom always comes as a package just like a Knife which can be used to kill or save Life. Our inability to handle this Freedom (because it's an Enormous Power ) most efficiently leads us to the creation of Models of Karma, Jnana, Bhakthi etc etc.
Karma, Jnana, Bhakthi or any of the myriad other paths/approaches are all about Dissolving this Ego when performing Actions, call it Nishkama or Surrender or Universal Consciousness etc etc.
What does this Dissolution mean actually?
In simple terms, it means to see things as Happening as against Lazy Unintelligent/Unconscious Doing. Every act of Unconscious Doing strengthens the idea of Ego/Agency or creates Karma. We do this Nishkama Action in our Professional jobs daily to a large extent, a sense of Collective Good Oriented Action taking priority over the Personal Good. The whole idea is to OBSERVE where our ATTENTION is while Doing an Action? Is it in the Action or Me/My Place in the Action?. This is the Fulcrum, ignoring this and trying to deal with the aftermath is just band-aid, just a piece meal, infact this is what is called Chicanery, Shallowness, Superficiality or in short HYPOCRISY, we are full of Self-Deception, living our whole lives completely in Denial .🥴.
This does not mean forcefully sacrifice Personal Good/Benefit but to make a Genuine Effort (and Act with Integrity) to find the Optimum Way through Intelligence to see how best an Action can be Synchronised with the Greater Good, this is Dharma, to live in Sync with the Highest Order.
How far we succeed in this harmonization is what gets labelled as Purity or Impurity 🙏.

Concentration, Attention & Awareness
(dhaarana, dhyana, samadhi) 🙏
Concentration is where there is an apparent Subject (the ME) and also an Object, the Subject's Effort is to direct the Subject towards the Object. This is in the domain of the Mind, of thoughts, like concentration on an Image or Object or an Activity etc etc. This also means preventing other thoughts, a kind of struggle on the physical level but has its much needed place in the functional world, like physical work etc. Concentration is Attention wearing an Identity .
Attention , to Attend to means there is only the Object remaining and the Subject (the ME) has dissolved, the Experiencer and the Experienced have merged. This is the experience of Beauty. When one sees a Sunset or Mountain, takes one's breath away, thinking ends, Beauty happens. Beauty is when I am not. Attention is beyond the domain of the Mind, it is a Convergence of all the Senses where every cell is oriented in the same one direction. When we say - I am all ears, it means Full Attention, every Sense, Every cell has become an Ear, this is not mere hearing but It becomes Listening. It's like the Wave realised it is actually only Water, Music realised its actually only Sound, the Golden Necklace realised it's just Gold. Attention is Awareness stretched in a certain direction.. Awareness is energy and wherever Attention goes, Energy follows.. This is the Devotion of Mirabai, Tukaram, Ramakrishna Paramhansa etc.
(Choiceless) Awareness or Pure Consciousness, called the Brahman in Sanskrit is when Direction-less Attention collapses onto its Source (which is Pure Awareness), like the Eye seeing the Eye or the Sun shining onto itself. Here, both the Object and the Subject have disappeared , there is NO experiencing of anything Objectively but its own self, just Being itself, No Effort, No Struggle, Absolute Relaxation, the Singularity or Nirvikalpa Samadhi.

The Various Paths
(Ekam Sat Vipra Bahudha Vadanti)
Many people have this confusion as to which path amongst the Karma or Yoga or Sankya or Bhakti or Jnana or Kriya or Beauty or the Pathless path is suitable for them?
The simple answer in my experience is the Path of Openness is the best path. The point being while a particular path may be most suitable for an individual depending on one's temperament, it is essential that one should NOT become a fundamentalist. Yes, predominantly there can be one Path that may work best but it is very important to jump out and jump in for brief periods into other paths as required, afterall Life means Flux and one has to Adapt accordingly, remember nothing is Fixed so how can you be? Adaptability is True Intelligence.
Two beautiful contextual anecdotes.
Sant Jnaneshwar was one of the rare Yogis from Maharashtra, famous for many Miracles . He took Mahasamadhi in a remote cave in a seating (meditation) position, enclosed. One day, it is said he appeared in one of his disciple's dream and requested him to come to the cave and cut/get rid of a twig/creeper plant that had overgrown and was wrapping around his face, causing obstruction, it is said the disciple obliged.
Another Yogi, named Bahubali (aka Gomateshwara, the big statue in Karnataka) was unable to reach Nirvana (despite years of meditation) because of one troubling single thought that he was meditating in his brother's kingdom, physically visited his king brother and got it clarified/resolved, post which he is said to have got Liberated.
The question here is,
Couldn't have Jnaneshwar used his Miraculous powers to remove the creeper?
Couldn't have Bahubali, the great Meditator, avoided his physical trip/conversation to resolve his obstructionist thought?
May be they could have but its all about Sensibility, where to use what Power/Energy/Method most efficiently/effectively. It's about 'Doing what is required as appropriately/ OBJECTIVELY as possible ' without bringing the ME unnecessarily into it.
KARMA , more than good or bad is about Efficiency/Effectivity, in that sense Gita is NOT about preaching/morality, it is about Technicality of the Most Optimum way to Live Life.
It is NOT so much about the Path that Spiritual progress depends on rather it is that genuine Sense of Urgency (Mumukshtva) that is the real determining factor in our Spiritual journey. There is a difference between Urgency and Hastening , will look into this next time.

Deconstructing Vasanas
Technically speaking,
Vasanas = Karma
We all have read or have been told Vasanas or what we call Impressions/Tendencies drive us in a certain direction, like a certain momentum from inside, in our life journey and this pre-disposition, if we remain captive to them or are Unconscious of them, gets loosely called as Fate/Destiny, like a Default or Automatic mode. This is like a Seed hidden inside us trying to find expression, to manifest, to find Fulfillment, to grow into a full fledged Tree surreptitiously waiting for the most conducive Time/Space settings.
The interesting thing is all things whatsoever in this Cosmos are working or seem to be, towards Freedom or Mukthi and this relief is possible only when it's Potential is fully unleashed, like finding it's Full Expression because only Fullness/Totality can give Freedom. In that sense, a Vasana/Karma is not conspiring against us, it is just minding it's business and we happen to be in its crosshairs and rightfully so 🥴 because we were responsible for its Birth or Entrapment.
How is a Vasana/Karma born?
The Sanskrit word Vasana is so beautifully apt that the words itself indicates it's meaning clearly. Simply put, Vasana means smell (rather than fragrance) because smell refers most suitably to something lingering post it's source gone, like a haunting. We all know even after a Food is consumed, it's smell stays on for a while, so is a Vasana like a psychological impression/groove that is left behind post an Action (physical or mental) because it felt Incomplete😡
Why does this happen?
Imagine you meet a friend, a conversation has begun and suddenly your mobile rings, you get distracted, pick up the call and start multi-tasking between your friend and the phone (without cutting the call). Just like most self-respecting individuals your friend will get annoyed, because you are not paying ATTENTION.
Try this sometime, instead of abusing/shouting at your opponent/enemy, just Ignore and see the amount of hurt/discomfort that will be caused. To ignore is to NOT pay Attention. Anybody would feel wretched when ignored because our Energy follows our Attention.
This is the exact moment a Vasana is Born (in a moment of Ignorance) . Well, that was just an example but this is true about Every Activity from the minute to the magnificent. Nature is just like Technology, like Gravity etc, it works exactly the way it is designed to.
Every Act of ours in our Life demands
Absolutely Full Attention, any division of Attention immediately creates a Vasana/Karma. Its like if that Activity were a Person , it would say, you didn't give me my full due, you need to Redo Me👹 hence I will wait inside you as an Impression, for an opportune moment to find my expression, then begins the vicious cycle of Karma, endlessly carrying multiple such impressions with their cascading effects.
The whole teaching of Karmanye Vaadhikaarastu.....in the Gita is about TOTAL ATTENTION, to be absolutely present fully in the NOW , this is the secret to NOT create Vasana/Karma or Nishkama Karma.
The core message is, Not only People, every Activity/Entity in this Universe deserves Total Attention , anything less than is Disrespect and actually the real SIN and it comes with its consequences howsoever much we can Ignore, may appear like a trivial thing but all great disasters start with minute things only.
( Recommended - Watch Investigation of Aeroplane Disasters on how trivial things cause them.)
What does Awareness do to Vasanas? Next time ☺️

Deep sleep and the ' apparent ' Discontinuity of Consciousness.
Francis beautifully pares the various layers of the idea that 'Consciousness is absent during deep sleep' and dismantles it like a pro.
We all know that in deep sleep we seem to be absent and only after waking up we say, we had a good sleep, there is no idea of time and me-ness during deep sleep, almost like a void.
Question - If I or my mind did not exist during deep sleep how do I know I slept well?
Most of us, without truly investigating, satisfy ourselves with an Inference that i slept well. In the conversation Francis dismantles the Inference model and explains how it was just Pure Consciousness in deep sleep that was experienced.
What is Pure Consciousness ?
Generally, we say I am Conscious of A or B or C but when I am just Conscious and NOT OF A or B or anything, it is Pure Consciousness.
Further, we all experience Pure Consciousness in our daily life more frequently just that we don't Observe ourselves.
When one is thinking a (first) 'line of thought' - let's say about Vacation planning (which resort, how many days etc etc) and suddenly a totally different (second) thought comes up and says - omg i just Realised or became Aware that I have exhausted all my leaves .
This moment of realisation is the result of a tiny gap of SILENCE inbetween the first and the second thought, this is the experience of Pure Consciousness, same with Deep Sleep. Just like the second thought is a formulation of what happened (by saying I Realised or became Aware ) in that GAP, on waking up our mind formulates what happened during the deep sleep.
Pure Consciousness or Nirvikalpa Samadhi cannot be experienced objectively (like other experiences).

Karma and Consciousness (Gahana Karmano Gati)
The word Karma is so ubiquitous that it is used as a softer substitute for almost any/all abuse. The most common definition of Karma is 'cause and effect'. While this is an academic definition, what does Karma mean/imply to me on an individual level ?🤔
Ever wondered why Karma has a Negative connotation by default or atleast it seems to. Etymologically, the root sanskrit word means 'to act' which in essence implies 'movement'. Anything STILL, which means 'no change' has no problem (as still means stability/comfort zone) at all isn't it?
Action/Movement implies CHANGE and change implies Uncertainity (because of infinite nature of this Universe) and Uncertainity is inferred as Insecurity (because we are conditioned to dislike Uncertainity), hence the Negativity around Karma.
What exactly is Karma?
An simple answer is, any action/movement, physical or mental altogether is Karma. While it appears to be a tempting definition, is it a complete answer?🤔
Precisely speaking, Karma is anything that is DONE (as against HAPPENS) Unconsciously . The keyword Done , implies a sense of Doer while Happens implies an objectivity, meaning 'no ownership/Ego'. Infact Done and Unconscious are kind of synonymous in this context because only an Unconscious Act has a Doer.
What is an Unconscious Act?
Any Action/Movement be it physical/mental that one is Unaware of, involves psychological Effort/Struggle is an Unconscious Act and there will be a Recording/Registration of this Act for Posterity in Memory and this accumulation of such Memory is what Karma exactly is. Any Action/Movement done Consciously is NOT Recorded/Registered and this would become an impersonal Happening rather than Done, means no Memory hence we don't get hooked here.
To be Conscious means to be Absolutely Available to the NOW as against looking at the NOW through the accumulations of the past (prejudices, conclusions and ideas) which is what is called my Mind. To be Fully Available means Total Attention, the Convergence of all the Senses, no division in Attention. We generally say 'I am all ears' when we truly listen.
It is said, one is bombarded every moment with about 2 to 3 Billion bits of Information but due to our Conditioning we are hardly Conscious of just about 2K bits only. This enormous disparity means Wrong decisions and it's Consequences, this is Karma, virtually acting out of Unaware blindness due to limited information.
To give an example, Karma is like Jetlag. Jetlag is all about trying to Sync up with the new zone, to dissipate/compensate for the superfluous/difference due to the change in timezone and align the biological clock.
So then, what is the way out of this Karma?
To put it another way, Karma means ' going out of Sync' with the Universe. This happens when one operates from a place of Individual Identity, from a Sense of Separateness from the rest of the Universe. What this essentially means is any Action/Movement acknowledging duality, meaning operating from a space of Personality or Limited Personal Perspective , like out of Jealously, Hatred, Comparison, Competition, Greed etc, as against an Impersonal/Wholistic Action like an Altruistic behaviour or from a sense of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.
Any Action/Movement arising out of Lack of Integrity, howsoever Noble/Ignoble on the exterior is Karma, none can escape this.
Any Action/Movement involving even the subtlest of Sense of Me or Mine as this implies MOTIVE, be the most insignificant or the most magnificent, it is still Karma. On the contrary, any Action that may appear as the most Horrible or Gruesome or Heinous from the exterior or phenomenal level, can escape from being categorised as Karma when it has an IMPERSONAL origin or has NO MOTIVE.
Karma, irrespective of good/bad, means 'dues are pending' or 'there is unspent/residual budget'. Anything that sticks out or in the Order of Cosmic Flow is Karma ☺️
Still worse, Karma is NOT limited just to the Doing of the Body or the Mind, it goes far deeper, the very Acknowledgement/Belief in the conceptual Model of Body/Mind is itself due to Memory Accumulation or Karma.
Though Karma refers to Action, the real Essence is the Friction that arises out of Action (rather than the Action itself) when there is psychological Effort/Struggle in that Action. Animals/Plants and even Devas are limited to only dissipating Karma, having no Causative power. It is an exclusive privilege/domain of the Human only to Create/Channelize Karma (like a past momentum), hence the ancients attributed Greatness to Human Birth because of the Freedom aspect which means potential to turn it into a Boon/Bane 🥴.
How does Being Conscious help?
To be Conscious means, to see through the Illusion that actually there is NO individual Doer, it is just a process, Things just Happen, and it is out of sheer ignorance/unconsciousness that we claim ownership, like an Actor/Comedian taking a Bow at the end of a show.
Is Karma individualistic?
Is there like my Karma or your Karma or is it just Karma?
What does it mean to relieve our ancestors of their Karma through our actions (called pithrupaksha etc)?
Is Karma always instant only?
Where does this Karmic info reside?
More next time.....
Keep Pondering ☺️

Optional Long Post🙏
(Outer) EFFORT vs (Inner) DESERVING
( Yogyathe vs Yoga )
Yogyathe and Yoga are two Sanskrit words that quietly yet powerfully reveal the Essence Of Life itself.
YOGYATHE
Yogyathe refers to external qualification, the appearance of being capable, successful or fit, achieved through effort - wealth, position, skills, intelligence, social status but Yogyathe remains superficial if there is no inner alignment.
YOGA
Yoga is not limited to bending the Body, mastering Postures, or perfecting Breath. True Yoga is an inner state of alignment .
Yoga is not about achieving more life, it is about removing the inner noise that prevents life from reaching us.
External striving alone can never guarantee fulfillment.
You may acquire everything yet remain unable to experience anything .
Examples: Possession vs Experience
Can afford the most expensive sweets (Yogyathe is there) but cannot eat (No Yoga)
Can afford to travel to the Moon (Yogyathe is there)
but cannot travel (No Yoga)
Owns multiple houses, cars, properties (Yogyathe is there) but that intimate space called HOME is missing (No Yoga)
This is the absurdity of modern striving —
possession without experience , infrastructure without intimacy,
a house without a home.
Capacity Without Harmony Is Useless. 🥴
What is ALIGNMENT?
ALIGNMENT = DESERVING, to deserve means to be internally available.
It requires:
* Internal Order – resolving inner conflicts, clearing mental and emotional clutter
* Honesty – being truthful with yourself, even when society wouldn’t approve
* Self-Awareness – seeing through your own tricks, desires, and narratives
* Integrity – an inner compass so aligned that actions flow naturally from AUTHENTICITY
To the deserving, the cosmos becomes a tool, an instrument, a servant, Life aligns to them, not the other way around.
When the inner is ignored through endless external distractions, Effort Becomes Vulgarity, struggle increases, fulfillment decreases.
The only real effort, if any, is To Be Authentic, to become deserving at the core of one’s being. This alone determines the experience, the Yoga Of Wellbeing.
ANECDOTE
Rabiya was frantically searching for a needle outside her house under a streetlight and a crowd gathered to help.
Someone asked,
“Where did you lose the needle?”
She replied calmly,
“Inside my house.”
The crowd exclaimed,
“Then why are you searching outside?!”
Rabiya smiled and said,
“There is no light inside.”
So… where are we searching? 🤔
The universe is always ready to serve, just make sure we place the right order.
Deserving from inside is the right order.
Life doesn’t respond to how much we can do, it responds to how deeply we are aligned to receive.
Just wonder : 🤔
* What in my life is present but INACCESSIBLE?
* Not absent, not lacking but UNAVAILABLE to be experienced?
* What TRUTH have I avoided because it was inconvenient?
The cosmos does not ask for effort, it asks only for CLARITY.

A-ghori - Breaking boundaries.
When one hears this word Aghori, the impression one gets is that of horror, disgust and an unkempt sadhu.
While this is so, the actual meaning of this sanskrit word A-ghori is to 'go beyond the horrible (ghora) or unpleasant', it means to 'break the boundaries of duality', it means to realise the 'inherent Oneness of everything', it is probably the shortest way of saying 'All is One or Interconnected', a thumping message for Social Unity.
The Agori is saying, there is nothing Untouchable or Disgusting/Horrible in this Universe, it is all in one's perception only . The Aghori's call is to Break this perceptive barrier of Division in our Minds, urging us to see the innate Oneness in all things, to Break Orthodoxy, to get Liberated from the Puritanical, the ritualistic Mindset that most of us are stuck/trapped in, our Hypocritical prisons that we have locked ourselves into.
The Aghori is about ultimate practicality. On the physical level it broadly involves
1. Consuming dead flesh
2. Liquor
3. Sex with deadbodies (necrophilia).
4. Drinking urine
5. Meditation while sitting on corpses.
Yes, this appears disgusting but the very purpose is to evoke disgust and go beyond it.. This is an extreme path for the limited few but the deeper message is for all , to EMBRACE the so called 'impure ', to crack open our Mental Blocks, Phobias, Fears etc. it is a kind of Reverse technique/method to Begin in the physical but end up breaking the Mind's hardcore Habits/Conditioning .
Dar Ke Aage Jeeth Hai ☺️
These divisions in our Minds are so evident in the most basic/routine things. Like for example, while most (educated) people put enormous efforts to keep their pooja room or the bedroom or kitchen clean/hygienic but their toilets/bathrooms seem to be like hell, dirty and unkempt. The fundamental point being, our notion of one being Pure while the other Impure, hence no Attention required. The Aghori urges one to develop a Scientific/Objective perspective towards both the Bedroom and the Bathroom hygienically, to see that the 'sense of disgust' is only in the Mind, for the Scientist, it is just a matter of different chemicals/compounds, further extending this perspective (of Oneness) to every other aspect of Life.
While Shiva is a much loved God, no modern devotee would even consider being near Shiva if he were to descend or manifest because of his appearance (scary/disgusting), this is our Hypocrisy 🥴.
This is NOT to say that we live our lives in squalor but to understand that while discrimination is a tool (for convenience) required for physical existence, it should not be carried over into the psychological realm.
Generations of these physical habits/conditioning has created deep grooves resulting in Mental Discrimination in various aspects of our society like caste, creed, race, class etc etc. The Aghora path is a rebellion against this, to see the Brahman in both the Divine and the Dirty, the Low and the Lofty, the Gross and the Subtle. ☺️

Presence Over Person
Have you noticed how being around certain people fills you with warmth and ease, while others leave you feeling uneasy or drained, often without any obvious reason?
We describe similar experiences with places as ambience. Some spaces feel safe, comforting, and expansive while others evoke anxiety or restlessness. When it comes to people, the pleasant sensations are labeled as charm, charisma, attractiveness, or warmth & the unpleasant ones as intimidating, heavy or discomforting.
What’s actually happening beneath the surface?
Just as every flower, a rose or jasmine has its own fragrance, every living (and even non-living) thing carries a subtle PRESENCE . Just like fragrance travels beyond the physical boundaries of the flower, likewise, a person’s Presence extends beyond their body. Appearances can be deceptive but Presence rarely lies. It quietly reveals what a person is truly like.
So what determines the quality of this PRESENCE?
Integrity, Inner Stability, Contentment and a Sense of Inner Abundance shape it. Presence is the residue of how someone lives within themselves.
Observe how it feels to be around babies, children, animals, plants or deeply intelligent and innocent beings. There is ease, openness and lightness. In contrast, being around calculative, hypocritical or agenda-driven individuals often feels suffocating, regardless of how refined their external appearance may be.
From a technical perspective, this comes down to Thought Density. Low thought density feels spacious and calming while high thought density feels crowded and heavy. This is why nature, children, and moments of stillness are so nourishin. They are largely free from incessant mental noise.
The Goodness of Deep sleep offers the purest taste of this state, a condition where thought dissolves and the PERSON disappears and only Presence remains.
When someone enters a room, they don’t bring just their body rather they bring a state. Like salt added to a dish, their presence subtly alters the texture of the entire situation.
Presence is not what someone projects, it is what naturally emanates from their inner life. This is what we casually refer to as VIBES.
Presence isn’t something we create, but something that remains when unnecessary effort falls away.
So next time you’re with someone, pay less attention to how they appear or what they say and more to how You Feel In Their Presence . The visceral response is often a far more accurate guide than the intellect.
The Power of Presence is such that even after the Person is long gone ( say died) their Presence can persist for ages and this can be both positive or negative. Depending on the intensity of their Presence, such Presence can alter the very fabric of the Universe either for good or bad.

Inferiority & Superiority
Though they may appear like polar opposites, these are two sides of the same coin, Superiority is nothing but Inferiority in disguise and both arise from a Deep Sense Of Lack within oneself.
This lack exists because one does NOT truly know oneself.
Anybody who genuinely knows themselves will feel neither inferior nor superior.
Both these feelings are born out of COMPARISON which in turn is born out of Deep Insecurity. We compare only when we seek external validation. When our inner clarity is insufficient we try to compensate for it through others. Life for such folks becomes one mad chase to FILL this Inner Void with a zillion worldly/material things.
Unfortunately, we are conditioned into comparison from childhood, and many remain trapped in it throughout life. Yet, there is absolutely no place for comparison in the life of one who knows oneself deeply.
Every individual is unique, the only one of their kind in the entire universe. Recognizing and relishing this truth is the highest SECRET and the true Dharma of Life, no JOY greater than this 😊

How can being concerned about my well being be a wrong thing?
It's Absolutely fine to be Selfish when this is emerging from a CONTEXT. A Context means when one's Selfishness originates from being part of a wellbeing of the larger Group/Community, in a harmonious way. Simply put - My wellness as PART of the Larger Wellbeing .

FEAR & DESIRE - Two sides of the same coin
Fear is a subliminal invite to (psychological) Suffering. Without Fear, there is No Suffering whatsoever. If one can be Fearless (and Not Courageous) and be around even the most ferocious animal or in the most toxic situation, no Suffering will come ever come, it's impossible, it's a Law of Nature. Fearlessness & Suffering can never exist together. Fear & Desire are two sides of the same coin, one cannot exist without the other. While Desire is movement towards an imagined Future, Fear is its opposite, movement away from that imagined Future, both are Illusory. To be Fearless means to be Desireless, that's Nirvana, a State of Non-Seeking, a state of Rock Solid Inner Stillness.
To be Desireless does not mean inaction but to be in the midst of all action as required by the situation but with absolutely no expectation of the outcome/result. This essentially means, to be so involved in what one does, to be so available to this moment, the NOW that there is no space in one's mind to expect an outcome.

The Biography of an Ego
As soon as one hears the word Ego, the immediate feeling/impression one gets is that of revulsion or a kind of indignation/dislike. Ego is mostly, generally associated with all the negative things or used as a pejorative but is the Ego really a bad thing? 🤔
The sanskrit equivalent for Ego is Ahamkara, it simply means identity or a sense of separate-ness. It's like the bridge between the Known and the Unknown or between the Potential and the Manifested or between the Visible and the Invisible or between what we call Shiva and Shakti. In Sanskrit, the word in itself has no value judgement in its bare form.
What exactly is the Ego? 🥴
Ego, when generally used, appears like a fixed thing but upon closer observation it dawns that it is actually a label to an Activity (like a process or flow like a river) and NOT an Entity (like a fixed thing).
Do babies and animals have Egos? Ponder 🤔
The Birth of Ego
When born, we as babies have no Egos, there is no Sense of ME-ness in that early stage. Infact, unlike how we adults experience this world, for babies it is all one undifferentiated mass , there is just Experience without Self Awareness, there are no separate things/objects, it is all just one seamless continuation.
The story is same with animals as well, they don't seem to realise like - this is a tree and it ends here and there is a bench it begins here etc etc. This sense of separate things or objects, as we see is a Projection of our Human Minds. In reality there are no Things, our mental software creates this sense of boundaries and overlays onto our external world. A baby or an animal is as happy/excited as it is with a broken toy or a piece of stone or the latest smartphone, it's sense of curiosity is same for all.
Whats really going to 'bake your noodle' is that sense of appearance of separate things/objects is a simultaneous happening in relation to our conditioning like quantum entanglement or something. A drunk/drugged person would be able to relate to this seamless-ness experience easily because the Mind ( and hence the Ego) is Dumbed when one is intoxicated. This is the kick that drives people to addiction, that experience of Oneness, though approached in a wrong/limited way.
Necessity/Utility of Ego
The development of Ego, especially in humans is a survival necessity , to differentiate the physical self separately from other things helps us survive, should be limited for its functionality in the physical world only. The problem starts when we take this physical demarcation into the psychological realm where there is no need for one. We imitate our physical ecosystem with an equivalent psychological system thereby strengthening this sense of Identity/Ego beyond its necessity, leading to all its ugly forms of jealously, greed, hatred and the most important of all psychological Insecurity .
The Ego is needed in the physical world, in the sense, your hunger won't get satisfied if I eat food right? Hence that acknowledgement of separation is a necessity.
On the other hand when one person is sad/dull, another person's love/compassion can help make this person feel better isn't it?.
Ignorance to Innocence
The whole purpose of Ego is to transition from a stage of Ignorance of the Baby where Awareness is lost in Experience to a stage of Innocence where Experience is merged into Awareness .
The Post Egoic stage
The Ego has a limited utility and once it's purpose is served, needs to be let go, like we let go of a boat after crossing over, there is no space for it in the psychological realm where there is just Oneness, unlimited Consciousness or Awareness.

When Do We Intensely Miss Loved Ones Who Have Passed Away? 🤔
Remembering people who are no longer alive, like actors, leaders, or distant relatives—is natural. That kind of remembrance is usually gentle and occasional.
But sometimes, missing someone feels intense, almost like a CRAVING.
Why does this happen?
The simple answer is,
the experience with that person was left INCOMPLETE.
What Is an Incomplete Experience?
An incomplete experience is any relationship, event, or interaction in which we were NOT fully present— emotionally, mentally, or honestly. When we give only limited ATTENTION or hold back parts of ourselves, the mind records the relationship as unfinished.
This unfinished record creates what some traditions call a Vasana Or Impression—like a psychological scar. It remains as a potential waiting for completion. That unfulfilled potential is often felt as guilt, restlessness or an aching sense of missing which shows up as craving.
In a way, the mind never fully “updated” the memory record of that relationship.
This is also why many cultures insist that close relatives see the body before cremation/burial. It helps the mind register a clear ending, allowing the relationship to reach a logical conclusion. While this practice helps on the surface, deeper emotional records may still remain unresolved.
The Real Resolution
The most effective way to prevent such intense longing is not something we do after people die—it’s how we relate to them while they are alive.
When we:
show up fully,
express honestly,
avoid deception (toward them or ourselves),
and live the relationship to its full potential then there is little left unfinished.
In essence, living relationships completely while people are alive is the only true way to move forward without guilt or craving when we lose them.
A Fully/Honestly lived Relationship never creates any painful Vasanas, rather it Liberates Us.😊

What is a Kick? 🤔
What people commonly call a “kick” is, in reality, a heightened state of AWARENESS.
Adventure sports like mountain biking, bungee jumping, skydiving, or F1 racing push individuals beyond their habitual mental limits and force them into total presence—fully alert, fully alive, fully in the now. In those moments, the mind drops its usual noise, offering a fleeting glimpse of what might be called super-awareness or even NIRVANA.
For most of our lives, we function on autopilot —alive biologically, but not truly present. Almost every human pursuit—wealth, power, status, pleasure, rituals, service, drugs, alcohol —is ultimately an UNCONSCIOUS attempt to touch that same state of aliveness .
Risky adventure sports represent a CONSCIOUS attempt to reach it but unfortunately it's very short lived and too costly or there is too much at stake.
Beyond all these lies the path of MEDITATION —a conscious shortcut that offers the same heightened awareness, without the danger, and with far greater depth and sustainability.

Interesting how Mooji calls it the Crime scene, very indicative and appropriate in terms of how a Crime scene draws crowds (which is basically Attention).
Well, we see so much happening in life isn't it?
Infact life is always always happening right?
What then is 'Nothing really happens' about?
While it is a fact that Life is ON 24*7, like a seamless continuous flow why do we feel events are happening, where in, an event means like an occasional popup in an otherwise insignificant browsing session. We all agree we don't remember or consciously register the entire happening in a typical 24 hrs day/night isn't it? So what then determines what is to be remembered or marked as an event? And is an event for you also an event for others who participate in that happening? Not at all right.
Here comes the role of our most precious capital ATTENTION. Our Minds mark a certain happening as an event when we pay Attention to it, like nourishing that slot and making a monument out of it for posterity, our Attention is the energy, the construction material for this. A large part of this happens Unconsciously and bringing Awareness to this aspect can make a difference between what becomes Memory and what does not.
Though our Minds due to our past momentum run in a pattern in deciding Events, the real power lies with us, we can choose to give Attention or not by Being Aware.
Depending on one's level of Awareness about one's Mind, happening or movement is a spectrum , from the Jivan Muktha for whom Nothing really happens to the Ignorant for which there is a world full of happenings.
For the Jivan Muktha, there is just the Water in the Ocean where the Ignorant sees so many waves, of all sizes/kinds, storms, cyclones etc etc.
The Jivan Muktha does RESPOND as required, many times may be exactly similar to the Ignorant 's reaction but the Origin of the Response (Tranquility or Agitation) makes all the difference between the two.

Psychological space/time - an Illusion?
We have all come across many stories of people how a certain external event/incident changed the course of one's life radically/miraculously, a complete transformation psychologically, a new way of looking at things drastically different from their past. These events/incidents usually seem to be externally devastating happenings like the Death of a dear one or a severe Financial crisis or a Relationship breakup or a huge Business disruption or a serious Health crisis or finding a Guru or something like that.
Most of us tend to believe that intense Suffering or Pain or Sorrow causes people to change, like one learning lessons through these experiences of adversity. This belief is so deep seated that Suffering has been made an inevitable pre-requisite for transformation. This is almost like saying, to be a good driver one must mandatorily have had a couple of horrible accidents before.
Is this really True?
Are we all dependent on external events/crises, like superficial phenomenon to bring a change in us?
Do we have to wait for disastrous events to happen in life for real self transformation?
Is Pain/Suffering a mandatory tool for transformation?
If this was really so, do all people who encounter such incidents undergo self transformation? Does data support this?
Absolutely NOT isn't?
Or does Practice/Training bring psychological change?
We know many people practising Anger mgmt or Non Violence or Humility or Gratitude for years with little change isn't it?
Physically yes, one needs Time to move from one place to another because the Distance (or Space) is real and so is the Body but Psychologically do we need Time to move from one state to another?
Like, de-addiction, to quit Alcohol or Smoking or any Habit, is Time really the essential requirement? Or have we just carried the principles from the physical to the psychological lazily?
If you pay Attention, Psychologically, does Hyderabad appear farther than your Neighbour's house?
Or Does yesterday's memory appear less distant in Time than a childhood memory?
The answer is clear NO.
The Critical Question -
What actually causes Psychological Change?
No amount of Practice/Training nor any external Event/Happening causes this, it is only SEEING THROUGH the constructs of the Mind that brings the real change. To See Through means to be Fully Available, to make this the Ultimate Priority, to pay Absolutely UNDIVIDED ATTENTION, rest all are just distractions that mislead us into believing that Time/Practice is needed for change just like how it appears that Huge buildings are supported by walls when in reality it's the hidden pillars that take the real load.
Phobias/Aversions that people might have for a certain food/smell/person/incident etc need just ONE moment of Total Attention to vanish. Many people experience disappearance of such Phobias suddenly without any apparent cause. The secret is that they lent a moment of Total Attention, just that it was Unconscious , but the same can be experimented Consciously.
Smoking, for example, can be got rid of in an instant if the Smoker paid Full Attention to that one cigarette, seeing through why he was driven to smoke and what smoking did to him in all its meticulosity.
Psychological CHANGE,always happens in a Flash, through a crack in the Mind, as an Insight . To recognise/discover that Change can be brought about Consciously any time and NOT wait for an external trigger is True Intelligence 😊

INTEGRITY - The Cosmic Secret.
Couple of years back when I visited an ashram there was a board named Panchavati in a certain area. When I went into that area, there were 4 trees and I kept looking for the 5th one, forever 😇.
Wondering why I am narrating this now?
Am trying to give context, though the incident may appear trivial, this is the simplest/most diluted way to explain what Integrity means.
The life of Harischandra and more so Rama are so often remembered and revered by millions, doing so for ages but ever wondered why?
If you closely observe, their lives have been the greatest disasters isn't it? From the stories we know, it's only challenges, sufferings, sacrifices etc, nothing even closer to what we can define as Success or Happiness right? Then, why are they so revered? 🤔
Have we gone wrong in idolising them? 🥴
And there are a zillion other stories in our mythology.
Sati Sumati stopped Sunrise to prevent her husband's death.
Sati Anasuya turned the Trimurtis into babies.
Sati Savitri brought back her husband from Yama.
Bhakta Markandeya defied his premature death.
Bhakta Kumbhar cut off his hands in his devotion.
Bhakta Siriyala literally cooked his son's flesh to satisfy his Guest's demand.
The stories go on and on and on.......
So what do you think is going on in these stories? Are they just some foolish/eccentric people or fictional stories? Is there more to these than what appears?
Couldn't have Rama told Kaikeyi to just shutup? So EASY isn't it? 🤔
Integrity, Integrity, Integrity - Its all about this.
What is Integrity actually?
In its most uncomplicated form it means Kaya Vacha Manasa in Sanskrit, means synchronisation of Action, Word and Thought.
In a deeper sense, it means To be Integrated. Integrated not only in Oneself but also with the Cosmic Order. The stories indicate that these folks focussed on their Inner Integrity irrespective of external consequences of the decisions they took to maintain their Integrity. Though Rama's life appears like a disaster he had found something irresistible/blissful within himself due to his conformity to integrity and that drove him from inside to take the decisions he took Organically , cared less for external implications.
Unfortunately, we are hardly taught the importance of Integrity today. Most people hardly understand even its simple meaning forget about its nitty gritties and they couldn't care less to bring this into their daily lives.
The criticality of understanding the Technicality of how Integrity works, it's structural underpinnings, how it forms the fundamental fabric of this phenomenal Universe is so much ignored.
What does Integrity mean on a personal level?
To be integrated on a personal level means to have that ONE thing on which you would never compromise, come what may. What is it that you Stand for?. Despite the various simultaneous Roles one plays (be it father, mother, son, daughter, teacher, officer, leader, servant etc etc) and their corresponding demands, that ONE thing should run through and through uninterrupted, like the invisible thread in a garland, NEVER compromised upon.
Unfortunately, most of us are not even AWARE of that ONE thing, that Orientation of our Life for which every aspect/act/thought of our life should be dedicated or offered (like a yagna) directly/indirectly. We are so Scattered/Spilt in all directions whiling away our Precious Energies of ATTENTION , ending up sapped, drained and exhausted.
To be integrated means, NOT United with the Cosmos but One with the Cosmos.
To be integrated means to Leverage the Cosmic strength as my strength.
To be integrated means to Trust the process of Life, to Let go of the individual psychologically.
To be integrated means to NOT seek/beg for Psychological Security but to Embrace Uncertainty in all its flavours.
Integrity is not about how someone judges you or how you judge someone, it is what you do, who you are when nobody is watching you.
Integrity is NOT about being Courageous but being Fearless. Integrity is what Prahlada was all about when he was Pushed from a mountain, Trampled by elephants, Poisoned or thrown into the Ocean. Integrity is what made Sita come out unscathed from the Fire.
Integrity is the only real ingredient that matters in Life, rest all is just a consequence.

Experience vs Thinking
( Sat Chit Ananda, The Sthitha-Prajna )
Generally speaking, though thinking is also a kind of experience, we will slightly wean away from this categorisation just for this conversation. Just so I am clear, though most of our experiences are mediated by thinking, there is an experience (the Direct Experience ) which bypasses thinking. A simple example could be just listening to one's heart beat without naming it or remembering the architecture of the heart, this is the experience of I am-ness or the experience of Being-ness or the Is-ness, extremely subtle but surely exists.
Before delving deeper, it is important to understand the difference between what an Experience is and What Thinking is. By Experience, the reference here is to Inner Bodily Sensations that we feel and by Thinking, the focus or attention is more on the Thought Process .
The general assumption is that we have a multitude of Experiences in our Life but if you keenly observe is it really so? 🤔. Do pause and check this out, very crucial.
On the outset, yes it does APPEAR like each one of us is having a spectrum of experiences both different from our own past and also different from others. The whole world, to summarise in a nutshell seems to be a conglomerate of different people chasing different experiences, some lofty, some mundane but eventually all talking or glorifying or complaining or cribbing about their experiences, isn't it?
While it appears so, fundamentally speaking, are all these experiences really Varied or is it just One Single/Same experience just shape shifting?
On closer observation, the mystery of experience unravels, though the experiences seem to be in the external world, the Actual Experience always happens INSIDE Me no matter it's kind/nature. Irrespective of the nature/variety of the trillions of experiences, all of them boil down to a certain limited set of sensations within us, in essence all experiences when distilled, result in a very (small) finite set of sensations (like joy, happy, upset, angry, sad etc etc).
Implication?
The key is, we as individuals need not learn to handle the trillions of varied experiences, instead just focus on dealing with the limited set of sensations, so much simpler isn't it?
Further, on an even closer observation, the surprising but pleasant revelation is that even the experience of these sensations when distilled further, ultimately reduce to One Single Experience (for lack of words), this is what is called Sat Chit Ananda. ☺️
By nature, at the substratum of all our different experiences, is Ananda but the Mind plays the spoiler by creating the various Narratives, the Stories thereby sucking/diverting our Attention from Experience to the Thinking aspect. We get so carried away by this Thinking that we become totally oblivious to the Root Experience , this is the result of all our Conditioning that we have acquired all our life. The fact is, it is just the Stories/Narratives that vary and Trap Us but the Actual Experience is always the SAME. Getting established in The Experience is the real key, this is the reason why The Rishi Just Relaxed and Sat Down. This is precisely the reason kids are more happier or carefree because they are most Established in Experience and Not in Thinking.
This is the Experience of the Sthitha-Prajna ☺️

Mooji beautifully delves deep into the intricacy of a relation and the aspects like insecurity, fear and anxiety that are usually associated with it.
The fundamental point is about having No Intention or No Agenda whatsoever in a relation, this forms the crux. To be Direction-less (ofcourse practical or physical is different) and allowing Life to flow freely is the key here. To have an Agenda means No Trust in the Universe , implies a state of conflict.
Why against Intention ?
An Intention means an implicit acceptance of separation from the Universe, this means duality and where there is duality, conflict/struggle is inevitable.
An Intention is the consequence of a deeper Lack and anything coming out of Lack creates a Tension.
The urge to grab, to cling or protect, to be loved, to be appreciated is an indication of a Deeper Poverty, the only way to deal with such poverty is to become Aware, To Examine it and call its bluff by pushing it to its worst/extreme corner to see it crumble as it's just a trick of the Mind.

Why Swadharma?
Animals don't bother about Swadharma or any kind of Dharma, for that matter even Unaware people are least bothered about this, isn't it?
Then, why should I bother?
The objective of Swadharma seems to be to make the process of Life more efficient and the Sense of Freedom' (will delve deeper into this at a later time) that we feel we possess and that we can do something out of it makes it look attractive.
Vasanas, Samskaras etc have been part of the scriptural vocabulary (to impart learning from outside) and I am sure Great Souls must have come up with these classifications after much research. While we respect them for their contributions the flipside is, the Learned tend to/work hard to fit in any of their first hand understanding/experience into these categories, like looking at them with a preconceived framework . Sometimes, it does seem like a burden compared to the Unlearned, who, with a blank slate to begin with, can look at them from a fresh perspective.
Anyway, for a moment if we club all these into conditioning and without labelling this conditioning as good/bad , if we look at them, it is clear that they have a certain momentum of their own and tend to drive us, the individual, in a certain prescribed direction .
This drive/momentum, if it happens Unconsciously and comes in contact with Sensations, creates its babies/seeds which we call Desires, leading to an Inorganic or (Psychologically) Goal oriented living, characterized by anxiety, frustration and everlasting thirst/hunger for more experiences.
On the contrary, if the same drive/momentum is handled Consciously , can be redirected or channeled towards Dissipation with Viveka (or Nishkama karma) and this we call Swadharma , resulting in an Organic life, traits of which would be an inner Fulfillment, a sense of Abundance and Stability and Effortless-ness . This is the way of Seeking through Non Seeking.
It is for this reason, this Gift (the ability to become Aware ) that is bestowed on Humans that a Human Life is considered as such a precious opportunity . As with all things Dual, the flipside is, the same opportunity can become a potential disaster because of the Choice we possess .
The problem with Choice is, it is a manifestation of Confusion and the 'Sense of Freedom', is what seems to separate us from animals.
Swadharma is a way to engage the crying baby (the Body-Mind) effectively so that it leaves us with an opportunity to explore, evolve and transcend the mundane . While Swadharma has more to do with the Strategy (the What) , the Gunas (the How) (Satvic, Rajasic & Tamasic) are labels for the implementation aspects.
The Choice, to choose Awareness, to be Conscious, to Wake up to Life or take the Blue pill in the Matrix 😊.

Sreyan swadharmo vigunaha paradharmat anushitha
Swadaharme nidhanam sreyaha paradharmo bhaya vahaha.
Effortless-ness & Swadharma
One of the most quintessential shlokas of The Gita is about Swadharma. It is probably also one of the most misunderstood due to its simplistic understanding.
The true essence of Bhagavadgita is in its Mirror like nature, reflecting the Reader's mental state, like a Behurupiya/Shapeshifter, multidimensional in its message, limited only by the Reader's comprehensive capabilities.
Like earlier mentioned, unlike other religions' texts, it is not Prescriptive, in the sense like 'Not Match the following' kind, like this Solution for this Problem. This also means there is a huge danger of Misinterpretation, as is with any text that is profound.
In this shloka, at the first glance, it appears to say that death is better over paradharma, sounds illogical/ridiculous isn't it?
What exactly is Swadharma ?
Lazy translators equate Swadharma with Job/Profession one to one.
In reality Swadharma is all about a Human Being's Nature. Like it or not we (as the Body-Mind) are born with a certain Nature, unique to ME, like a Tiger is carnivorous and a Goat is herbivorous, so are we, each of us come with a package of our own, a machinery built specifically , absolutely unique as a mould.
Just like a Spanner/Screwdriver has a precise function and it is truly blasphemous to use one in another's place so it is with us.
How do I know my Swadharma?
Swadharma is less about jobs/positions, it is about aspects like for example, qualities like Leadership, Social Connect, Compassion, Devotional, Followership, Communicative, Teaching, Detail Orientedness etc etc, these are usually Talents (in born) and probably cannot be developed (like skills).
If anything you do does NOT feel like WORK but you are passionate about, where you don't need any external motivation or drive, you are totally self driven , your mind hankers to do these things, that is Swadharma .
There can absolutely be conflicts between Swadharma and our real life situations, here comes the real challenge. Though one could be extremely successful (in a conventional sense) in such situations if there is a VOID inside the Being, is it worth it is the question? The reason why Gita says Death is better than such a success is because it is only tactical, very limited in context and is in conflict with the Bigger schema of the Cosmos. The real problem in deciding is the conditioning we have grown with the definition of Success or Good life, it is not sustainable .
To be established in Swadharma is to become Effortless (psychologically). Anything done in contravention to Swadharma is full of Effort. The difference between Swadharma and Paradharma is like a mechanical machine running with and without lubrication. Non lubrication means Friction, essentially translating into struggle, conflict and frustration.
The Lubrication is that harmonizing factor of Sattva which gets created when one is in Harmony with the Universe. Choosing Conscious Experience over Thinking is the key when it comes to Swadharma.
Swadharma, sometimes also requires a Leap of Faith in contradicting situations and this cannot be cultivated like a Goal or learnt like a practical skill but has to Emerge from Within, as a consequence of Inner Integrity, this Emergence is like a Flower Blossoming (and not a making), as a result of the loving care of the plant by the gardener.
Swadharma is to choose Organic, running full throttle @one's full potential, no guilt/regret, the DOER gets dissolved over the Inorganic, it is for the Dheera and not for the timid, it is an Inner calling if one is Sensitive enough to Resonate with that. Any person taking up Paradharma is like a Tiger eating grass , imagine/contemplate what that essentially means.
Only a person established is Swadharma can do real Nishkama karma, rest all is mere verbal/hollow talk.

Humility as the Highest Intelligence.
Nothing, no attribute including greed, jealousy or being crafty etc etc whatsoever, is wrong or right in an Absolute sense, it is just a question of employing it at the right time and the right place, this is the real Art of Living life.
The (innocently smart) boatman ( Humble kevatiya ) by bringing up the Ahilya incident pretext obtains Rama's permission to wash his feet before entering the boat (instantly recognises he is in for a big haul today 😉). Though on the surface he speaks complainingly about his fear of the boat getting transformed into a woman, thereby he losing his livelihood, he knows deep inside (like a true/perfect businessman 😇) if the dust of Rama's feet itself is so powerful, what his clean feet touch can do to his life/boat, he gets to it so cleverly yet with true Humility .
Also, at the end, he weaves a brotherly relation narrative with Rama to waiving of his fees, he knows deep inside Rama is a man of word and would return his favour anyway (as a man of Gratitude) with nothing less than the highest reward of liberation (bhava paar)
This is the true understanding of Nature's laws and knowing how even the Highest of Gods are bound by them, helps play the Game of Life most artistically.
Integrity, Humility, Gratitude, Love and Compassion are not mere theoretical moral lessons of the weaklings, they are the real Secret Technologies/the Fabric of the workings of the Cosmos, we just need to learn the Art of Playing with them appropriately and then see how Life becomes Magically Harmonious 😊.

Understanding, Beauty and Love UNRAVELLED
Understanding is what happens when Thinking/Mind consumates.
Beauty is the experience when Perception dissolves.
Love is the result when Feelings relax.
If Thinking/Mind, Perception and Feeling are the Expressions then Understanding, Beauty and Love are their corresponding Essence, important to understand the difference between Essence and Expression.
The Upanishads speak of the Vyakta and the Avyakta i,e the Potential and the Manifested. If you remember the movie Rainman, the Genius seems to operate from a place beyond Logic, by his instant answers making it amply clear that his answers don't employ calculations/memory in the traditional sense.
The Vyakta (Mind, Perception & Feelings) are like the downloads of the Avyakta (Understanding, Beauty, Love). While we live with our Mind, Perception and Feelings, there is always a sense of incompleteness, a sense of agitation, a sense of movement and inbetween we experience moments of Fullness when our Ground Cracks into Understanding, Beauty and Love which are Blissful but fleeting. The challenge is to explore these Cracks. These Cracks are our Insightful moments like a PEEK from the Known into the Unknown or from the Finite into the Infinite.
Most of us are familiar with Learning but only in a Linear, Accumulative (of information) sense. This Accumulation is actually what we call the Intellect (Mind) but Intelligence is different.
Ever wondered what if there is another way of Learning? 🤔, yes that is the Way of Insight.
While the Intellect (Vyakta) is Finite, Mechanical and sort of dead, Intelligence (Avyakta) is Alive, Original and Infinite.
Insight is what connects the Intellect to the Intelligence. On closer observation it seems to be pretty clear that all great Discoveries were a consequence of Insight and Not an Effort of the Intellect. An Insight is like an instant/flash when the Intellect draws from the Universal Intelligence, an Insight is possible when there is Absolute Relaxation, a syncing of the individual with the cosmos, generally called Meditation.
Speaking of Understanding, Beauty and Love further, if one observes keenly, the
Actual Experience of Understanding is the same irrespective of what you understand.
Actual Experience of Beauty is same irrespective of the thing/person that is beautiful.
Actual Experience of Love is same irrespective of whether you Love a person/thing/place.
There is a lot more on this, for now Ponder on this 😊

Just like water takes the most optimal path, meaning there is absolutely no scope for any improvisation in the path it takes, so is Nature/Life, there is no scope for the term 'wastage/redundancy' in the Universe.
Closer observation reveals that this is the case with all the elements in Nature except Humans 😔. Be it Fire, Air or even the Course of a River, meaning there is no mundane repetition, in a more profound sense there are Absolutely No Mistakes in Nature.
Nature's work is just like Technology, it is perfection like it is supposed to be, any mishap is just a label that should be attributed to the operator only, no space for guilt in Nature.
If this is so then is there a Critical Path for our Lives too? A path that is …
[2:56 PM, 11/8/2024] Kiranbabu: Bhagawadgita
Inquisitive -YES
Prescriptive - NO
Recently came across a reading/forum where a question was asked as to why so many Beings got enlightened in ancient times and why it has become such a rarity today. The answer stated that most of these enlightenments happened before the Upanishads were compiled or written, the point being, when Seekers did not have ready made answers, they were Truly Curious ( Jignasa was authentic), they were sleepless and Really Looking for these answers but post Upanishadic period, Seekers found easy answers, killing their Inquisitive Spirit, settled for second hand knowledge over True Experience.
What's the point?
Be it the Upanishads or the Gita, it is of immense importance that one should refrain from taking these as Gospel Truths, as a given, instead only as guiding milestones. The scriptures, especially that in Sanatana Dharma are NOT Prescriptive in their essence, that Spirit of Inquiry should not end with scriptural conclusions because any Conclusion means Death of Curiosity.
For example, the essence of Gita unlike other religions' texts is, Not a set of Commandments , like Do This or Do That sort of. It is NOT about making an Inorganic Goal out of
Giving up the fruits of Action/Getting detached/Giving up the Doership etc etc.
These are supposed to be the Organic Consequences of an Inquiry into the Nature of Action. The secret is not in Goal making but in exploring the intricacy of What an Action is?
Goal making essentially means Efforts and the Highest Truth can never be realised through this kind of Efforts.
Only when there is Effortless-ness does Truth yield itself.
Overall, this is not about belittling the scriptures but more about the approach one takes towards these texts.
Authority cannot be Truth, Truth is the only Authority. 🙏

In the garden of life, different flowers exude different fragrance 😇, who gets drawn to which one is hard to say.
While some prefer to walk, a few like to drive and some may want to fly, is there really anything like a standard 🤔
[3:05 PM, 11/5/2024] Kiranbabu: Expanding a little more on this......
Though this seems to be an extremely nebulous proposition (that of No Seeking), this is so fundamental that it is like the substratum of who we are.
The reason being, the Universe (including the local/global world around us) is constantly throwing up situations/challenges to us in our life and most of us are caught in this struggle of dealing with them, am sure most of us keep wondering why this happened to me sort of right?.
As the ancient adage Yad Bhavan Tad Bhavati goes, the Universe is syncing up with 'what I am' or 'my internal state' in Real Time, with no gap/lapse, like in unison, like Me+Universe is ONE Big Machine and a button pressed or a knob turned in Me reflects in the Universe's manifestation on a corre…
[3:05 PM, 11/5/2024] Kiranbabu: If not for the Mind which is nothing but thought/s, the Subject and the Object are One, it is the Mind which creates the division. While this division is useful in Physicality, it has no place in the Psychological, rather is the cause of all havoc in the mental space.
It is due to our conditioning we mix up the Physical and the Psychological leading to unwanted consequences.
[3:05 PM, 11/5/2024] Kiranbabu: A state of No Seeking also implies being Perspective-Less. Any Perspective by definition means a Limited View but having No Perspective means Open to All Possibilities kind of rather than saying 'Want it in a specific way' which puts the Universe in a fix because what I may be unable to afford is what I am wanting in my current state, hence the struggle/effort.
[3:05 PM, 11/5/2024] Kiranbabu: Taking a step back, let us examine the difference between Psychology and Spirituality, where is the boundary?
Spirituality begins where Psychology ends or we can say Spirituality downloaded is Psychology.
Just like Physiology is about the physicality of organisms, Psychology is about the various Constructs of the Mind, the Mind is not very different from the Body, may be more subtle but just like physical structures, the Mind is made of structures like software is made of Virtual structures, Firewalls etc.
This said, the state (lack of a better word, it is not a state actually) of No Seeking is beyond the grasp of these Mental structures, in the sense like transcending it.
We all have in the past and are continuously having these moments of Experiences when we become Breathless in Beauty or dissolved in Love or overwhelmed by Compassion, may be unconsciously.
Example - If I were a character in a Movie playing on a Screen , totally entangled in the thick and thin of the story, imagine what would happen if the character suddenly realised that he/she is just the Screen and not the character actually, like a Wave suddenly realising that it is actually Water how would we then experience the world around, this needs profound contemplation to clearly see the implications of such a realisation.

What does it mean to Observe without judgement?
To really Observe is to not add, not colour it, not influence or give any flavour, any bit to 'what is'.
Judgement means coming to a conclusion, like say I am this or i am that etc etc. conclusion means stagnation and stagnation means death which implicitly means I am unwilling to change, means I am a mould, a fixed entity, am in a comfort zone.
So what?
When every bit of the Universe is in constant flux but you become stagnant then what happens? You lose touch with the changing reality, with the changing ground like an old model of technology, literally useless. The unfortunate thing is this cruelty of judging is Self imposed because of insecurity we want to hold onto something fixed where we want to feel safe but is there really safety in such stagnation?
This stagnation is against the very basic nature of the cosmos, it becomes a battle Me against the Universe , there begins my struggle.
Ever seen a new born baby, the reason we love a baby is because of its tenderness, the bones are yet to be hardened, so flexible, so much looking forward for change vs a deadbody that becomes stiff, saying am done, there can't be anything more symbolic than this.
As we grow, we accumulate psychologically (materially is still fine) BECOME this or that, the curse is in this becoming, the unwillingness to NOT judge, not stereotype but Watch, to Observe, to See for what it is rather than impose Me/Myself onto situations.
To say I am a THIS is equally judgemental as it is to say I am not THAT.
Each of us is a River, everflowing, never stopping, never know what's around the corner 😇.
How about we just Observe without any labelling? 🤔

At the first glance this looks like an irresponsible statement of a reckless crook trying to be wise or something but is it really so ?
What does it mean to say 'I don't mind what happens'?
Would the waters of the ocean mind if a storm ravaged the ocean or enormous tides emerged out of it or even worse, the sun evaporated huge quantities of the ocean etc etc?
Would gold be bothered if a golden bangle was broken, melted and made into a necklace or a ring or a box or anything?
Similarly, for somebody established in their BEING , the Doings of the world become immaterial, be it a wild party or a horrible war or a huge catastrophe or the death of a loved one, it really makes no difference.
Just imagine the freedom such a Being would experience from the outcome/goal based lives that most people live. The freedom is akin to the Screen on which all kinds of movies play be it joyful, horror, adventurous, drama or a thriller, the Screen remains unaffected. This is what has been referred to as Sthithaprajna in the Gita, the one who is established in Awareness, to him the world is a Play, a Leela.
How is this even possible?
To SEE that things just happen and there is really nobody making them happen, to realise that any/all sense of ownership of any action is only a post action thought, an illusion, just a consequence.
Do you make your digestion happen?
Do you make your heart beat?
How many functions in your body do you really make happen?
If not then what makes us think we make things happen in the world? 🤔

Memory when used as a functional tool is of great utility but if one is possessed by memory and in the hang of it life becomes miserable.
When one has the power to be Selective about one's memories, in the sense what memories should retain depth and feeling and what should not, the trick is how to have memories without their ' stickiness ', there by FREE from its shackles, the Mind is fresh and in the NOW which is the Eternal abode of Joy , the realm of Newness, the Source of all Creativity and Life itself.
Unconscious Recording of everything necessary/unnecessary is the premise of all Suffering, the Holy Grail is to Wake up to the Conscious power to decide what to and what not to record.
Why do most of us record (or store) indiscriminately?
The secret lies in our ATTENTION, our brain records everything when we don't pay our FULL Attention to an event/thing, for posterity. Full Attention means All our Senses being Oriented into that event/thing ONLY , when such Attention is paid, there is No Recording, you experience, you go through and are done with it, NO baggage of memory. The fundamental problem is division of Senses' Attention which leads to storing unnecessary memories.
Any insult/appreciation when Fully Attended to, we go beyond that.
Ponder what does it mean to pay absolutely Full Attention 🤔

Sampigehalli Lake -
A journey from Desecration to Consecration 😊
The fresh breath of air, the life giving essence of water and above and beyond is the vast expanse of space, the emptiness or the nothingness that one encounters as one steps into the zone of this beauty we call the Sampigehalli Lake. It is as though like a Portal opening up into another dimension of Tranquility , quietly tucked in a silent secret corner of Sri Venkateshwara Nagar.
It's a real interesting Saga of how a once decrepit, ignored water body came fully alive from the ruins of its past, like a phoenix emerging out if it's ashes, this Beauty has blossomed from the dirt of its Desecration like a Lotus, how it has become worthy of the highest Consecration.
Truly, a classic example of how Like attracts Like. From a place which was a den for all the negative elements, how it has transformed from gross to subtle, into a magnet for the tender and the delicate, be it the Beautiful Birds, the Gregarious Grasshoppers, the Bashful Bats of the nocturnal, from the mighty pelican or the white eagle to the small/petty flora, to the last blade of grass, each one contributing in their own genuine capacity to the Ecosystem of the Lake, to the Landscape, transforming the region into a coveted space of intimacy with Nature.
Not to forget the Bee Resort that heartily welcomes the guests with its Organic Nectar oozing out from its Flowers of Abundance, inviting humans to experience a slice of Nature, to rest in its Womb of Calmness and Tranquility.
Must mention a Thank You from the bottom of my Heart to all the People, the Forces, the Organizations that made this happen, for creating a Truly Sacred Space for us to rest in the Lap of Mother Nature. 🙏

We would like to believe and mostly do that we live our lives based on facts and hence we are all very sane beings. JK in this beautiful clip unravels the intricacies of what actually a FACT is and how we so unconsciously drift from a Fact and live our entire lives in the world of IDEAS.
This understanding of the difference between a Fact and its Idea is so critical that it can be easily said that this forms the fundamental building block of our Consciousness.
Before we delve any further, it is important we understand what is a Fact and what is a Non-Fact/Idea and the criticality of their difference.
Anything that is Now and Present, like a Tree in front of you or an emotion that one is experiencing, is a Fact. This said, the moment we call a Tree a Tree, we have drifted into an Idea, the very naming is the moving away from the Fact, this naming means recognition which implies memory. The very moment we name, we have disconnected with the actual Tree and are operating on the Idea of a Tree from memory, this essentially means we have moved away from the Present Now, into the conceptual Mind. So what? 🥴
This moving away from the Fact is the crux of all our Suffering because we are no longer in sync with the reality , all our decisions/actions will be based on the Idea/image from memory or past hence outdated/wrong with cascading effects.
This is the secret of staying in the Present which essentially means staying with the Fact without the naming or the word. Then what happens? 🤔
Any action coming out of such a state will be in sync with the reality, the entire cosmos, meaning, it would be a wholistic action and not an isolated or silo action.
What does it mean to be with a Fact?
There is a saying Labour clears the mind', meaning physical work keeps oneself in the NOW like a key in the lock, one immovable unit, this is the reason one feels so refreshing after a workout or a marathon. This is also why a Bullet ride feels so good, the sound keeps one with the Fact, essentially Alive to the moment, this is precisely the reason why people love Adventure Sports or Risky Rollercoaster rides, the Aliveness it brings because of staying with the Fact of the Now-ness.
The same applies to Being with the Fact of our Emotions without escaping into narratives around them, weaving stories. The Emotion, irrespective of it being Joyful or Sad has a certain sweetness at its core, in the chemistry of it, if one stays with the Factuality of the Emotion, the core experience is always a certain Bliss, this is why in Tantra it is said all Emotions are actually Bliss at their core, Ananda is our Nature 😊.

Unconditional Acceptance - What does this even mean?
The difference between standing as Awareness vs standing as the Mind makes all the difference in our lives. Standing as Awareness is something like an Electronic Recorder, it SIMPLY records ALL as Just Sound without any knowledge of whether the Sound is Music or Noise or a Conversation etc etc.
It is only the Mind that categorises the incoming/recorded Sound as Music or Noise depending on how it was programmed/conditioned, infact the Mind is nothing but the Program.
The very Awareness that all, whether be it Noise or Music, is ultimately Sound Only Transforms One's experience of the situation. Even if the situation is a challenging one, this veneer of Awareness in the background acts like a Glove(s) that prevents one from getting dirty/soiled, even with the situation ON, your participation self transforms itself from 'Entanglement to Involvement' and you know what this means, a huge difference in how one perceives this, like a Lotus in a Pond 😊

Sense of Doer - Awareness😊
In one of the Japanese fight schools, a Master was killed and as per tradition it was the student/disciple's responsibility to Avenge this. After searching and chasing, the student cornered the killer in a cave in the forest. Just when the student was about to kill him, the killer spat on the student's face. This infuriated the student and got him very aggressive but then the very next moment retracted and let the killer go scot free and said, I will hunt you again and kill you.
Surprised by this, when the killer asked why?
The student said - Until you spat, your killing was just a dis-passionate act, sort of a duty thing, I was just a channel but the moment I got angry because of your spitting, I got identifed with my anger hence the action of killing would become personal.
This is an excellent example of Nishkama Karma which is Action without a Sense of Doership.. The secret is in the Identification with an Act.
What does Identification essentially mean?
Simply put, it is 'To be Motivated'. The difference in COST between a Motivated and Non-Motivated Action is somewhat similar to
1. Using SMS to send a million messages
Vs
2. Using WhatsApp to do the same.
Obviously, though the Action/Communication is same, we are aware of the huge cost that is incurred when SMS is used when compared to WhatsApp.
Identification creates a Centre in an otherwise Centreless Universe, then starts the Game of Karma from this Centre.
Another example is, a PLAY is Non-Motivated but a GAME is pure Motivation and any experienced person will know the difference.
The crux being, Actions that can appear absolutely similar in the external can have enormously varied consequences so Awareness of WHERE any Action Originates FROM, makes a Sea of difference.
It is like one can Breathe from the chest (shallow) or the stomach (deep), though it is Breathing in both cases, the consequences will be immensely varied.
This probably should explain to a large extent why many people feel, am a good person ' Do i deserve this '?
The reason is most of our Actions originate from a state of Unconsciousness, how many of us are really Aware of our Intentions behind our actions, even the subtlest does not go without consequences, these when accumulated unconsciously manifest as disasters/crises in our lives.
This is where Integrity comes into picture. Integrity simply means synchronisation of Kaya Vacha Manasa, the most important ingredient in Life. Integrity means 'To Integrate' all the fragments of who you are, to coalesce the 'crowd of personalities' that you call yourself as a person.
Ignorance is the only Evil and Awareness is the only true panacea.

Love is not about showering gifts or helping someone indulge to the brim, it is not about just saying the sweetest words or unseeing their faults/mistakes, it is not about nepotism or doing wildly risky things for one's close folks.
Love simply means ' Highest Intelligence '.
Any action that emerges from a place of Universal Understanding and is Not Liimited by the Narrow definition of Myself which is 'i am just my body and mind' and I am Not responsible for OTHERS.
Does this mean I stop eating just because it is my Body specific need?
Absolutely NO, rather 'Eat as much but with Awareness'.😇
In its simplest format, it could mean choosing Eco friendly options etc etc. Taking responsibility for that chocolate wrapper which you just consumed or parking your car 'keeping in mind' that there are Others parking too.
The idea is to 'Act from a place of Love and Concern ', to realise that I am just a part of the bigger puzzle. This, in no way means foolish compromises but Action with Awareness, arising from a deeper comprehension of how Life works W-holistically.
What happens with such an Action? 🤔
If every ACT of ours originated from that Place/Space of Love, you will be surprised how things fall into place even in the most impossible circumstances, help will arrive from the most unexpected quarters.
This is not a moral story, this is based on an Understanding of how the Universe really works. Actions from a place of Love are in sync with the Grand Schema of things in the Universe, resulting in Greater Harmony .

Are thoughts different from Consciousness?
Do thoughts really exist as separate entities, in a container like thing called Consciousness, like water in a bucket?
Waves appear as separate objects from the ocean but there is a clear difference between fishes and waves, the fish can be plucked out of the ocean, can waves be plucked out too?
This, when extrapolated to our world/universe, becomes evident that our Mind actually Abstracts objects into Concepts on various levels and kind of creates boundaries, thereby creating an apparent world of multiplicity of objects or Duality. Though physically, Duality hits hard, science is discovering the Interconnected-ness of the entire Universe, it is all just one Seamless Flow, even calling it One is blasphemy, that is what has been referred to as the Brahman/Consciousness.
The world appears so diverse because of the instrument through which we perceive, that's the Mind, it's like the Mind projects it's nature onto the world, thereby creating apparent Duality.
So what exactly is this Mind?
Just like the waves are an activity or movement of the ocean water, so are the Thoughts an activity of the One Universal Consciousness, they are not separate from Consciousness, this activity is what is referred to as the Mind.
Closer examination reveals that these Thoughts are not like separate Objects, a thought is just a concept or a kind of Abstraction and just like how only Brahman actually exists, there is only the process of Thinking and NO Thoughts in reality .
Only Consciousness truly exists, nothing apart from it is real in that sense. To the question of how fair is it for Krishna to instigate Arjuna to kill, the Essential question is from where is one operating from?
From One Universal Consciousness or that of a limited Body/Mind?
Think Global, Act Local.
It is more like this adage, in the immediacy (limited by a local perspective) it might appear cruel/brutal to kill but from the perspective of Consciousness, un-muddled by emotions, it is just what was needed.
In a company, a Manager can operate from two places. One, as an individual, use his discretion to take decisions OR remember and act as a representative of the Company, each of these decisions will vary and can create totally different/divergent paths.

A beautiful exposition on ANGER, an emotion which is generally associated with Negativity but is it really always so?
Can anger be helpful? Ofcourse depending on whether it is Negative or Positive.
Any emotion/action, more than the expression (as defensive/aggressive/blocking/withdrawal) of it, it is the Source from which it arises that matters. If Anger is the outcome of a repressed/suppressed/unfulfilled desire it is Negative but the Anger arising as a response to violation of one's boundaries can be Positive.
Anger, just like fire in any case leaves one exasperated if one is identified with it, hence AWARENESS is critical. On the other hand Anger can also be the warmth of the fire like a mother's anger on her little kid. Here, the Anger is similar to a Tornado which appears turbulent on the outset but the center of which is a tranquil/calm place.
On the more fundamental question of why we become angry or why we complain?
The simple/truthful but probably 'non acceptable' answer is because ' we enjoy being angry or we enjoy complaining '.
Sounds ridiculous? It may, because truth does not bother how it sounds 😇, it is what it is. The reason why we enjoy is, we feel ALIVE, the ME-ness or the EGO gets a boost from this. The trick, he says is NOT to manage anger when it happens, rather enjoy ☺️ and watch it as it unfolds. The REAL action is required in moments of CALM when one is truly available, it is these moments that are productive/transformative like the preparation for a storm is best done in times of Calm and not during the Storm.
Also, the importance of Intention in relation to Action or Expression. It is not about an action of Will power to welcome the Anger but staying with the Genuine Intention behind it, to TRULY be an observer, not just pretending to welcome on the outset but waiting for it to get over or making a subtle goal out of this action in the intention.
All emotions have evolved as part of Nature's strategy for surviving and thriving, depends on the sophistication of the user to use these tools for the right outcome.

The Mind is responsible for both Bondage and Moksha, there is absolutely nothing in the physical world that holds us hostage, it is purely the Conceptual map of the world in our Minds that we create that is responsible for the whole self imprisonment of Human Beings. All our excuses are just deflections from this Truth because accepting this means 'Taking Responsibility' and Responsibility for our entire life. To avoid this, we play Games with our own selves, the game of Hide and Seek, the game of Hypocrisy and Self Deception.
Like the camel in the story, it is not the rope that the camel was actually bound to but to the commands of its master, the sounds, the pattern that was created in its mind in the due course.
Likewise, years of conditioning, the intricate patterns that we have weaved Unconsciously in our Minds are the true reasons for our Bondage/Attachment and the resulting Suffering due to these.
Day in day out, we go through the Grind, strengthening these Patterns, taking comfort in these, feeling a False sense of Security, we defend the Grind and glorify it as Divine duty etc, trying to Re-assure oneself and suppress the Spark of Honest Self-Enquiry which keeps rearing its head in a myriad forms in our lives in the form of Crisis/Disasters etc.
The only solution is to become Conscious of these Patterns and the difference between the Camel and Humans is that we have this Potential Capability and the camel does not and above all the Choice to be a Human Human or remain a Human Camel ☺️.

Sounds very counterintuitive at the first glance?
Sure it does, but is it really? Lets dig a little DEEP 😇.
Any situation or a problem is not very different from any person or an animal. Just like how they seek your ATTENTION, the problem also is seeking your Attention and absolutely Non-Divided Attention.
There is nothing in this Universe that does not Yield to 100% undivided Attention, infact this is a Law of the Universe, the design is such that it can't help but Yield, be it a Person or a Problem. There is no Time here, the moment it gets the desired Attention, it gets resolved.
It is not that the problem does want to not get resolved, it just can't because many of us are NOT capable of such Attention hence the problem persists, our Distractions are enormous and we hardly realise that.
When JK says BE in the Mess (or problem) its about Undivided Attention. Any action of
1. Wanting to escape from the Mess or
2. Justifying the Mess or
3. Avoiding the Mess or
4. Trying to Resolve the Mess
5. Analysing the Mess or
6. Any Intention to put an end to the Mess
is not going to help because doing any of these means Dividing the Attention, thereby NOT Seeing Clearly the 'As Is' which is technically 'Loss of Information' hence meaning working on the wrong problem/mess.
This kind of Seeing, an Absolutely non influential Seeing is in itself the Solution. The Solution is not created using Thought, it Emerges from the problem/mess, just like a Baby taking its Birth from its mother's womb because in this world of Duality they always come in pairs (like problem/solution like lock/key).
True Seeing or BEing in the Mess means giving Space for the problem/mess to BE itself, a space for it to relax and thereby reveal it's nitty gritties in all its nakedness , to tell it's Story unhindered, (just like us, we are all so eager to tell our stories right?) without being Judged.
This is what True ACCEPTANCE means, an act of NOT imagining how the problem/mess should get resolved, not creating an Image of the Solution, just BEing in the Mess😇.
This is the Deeper meaning of the Gita Sloka
Karmanye vaadhikaaraste.....
The Essence is to be Goal-less (excluding practical things), to Explore with absolutely No Agenda, like a New born Baby, like the Nandi in front of Shiva, sitting there waiting but NOT Waiting for Shiva.

While we search for tranquility/bliss restlessly in the so called external world, in reality the entire cosmos is inside this ' ghata ', that we call the Me or the I 😊, like the fish in the sea searching for water, like the baby in the womb searching for its mother.
Iss ghat antar....😊
The ME is like that super duper smart phone which most of us don't know to operate rightly to a ts full potential , survey says 90% people don't use or don't know more than 10% features of their smart phones 🥴.

Psychological Effort/Wanting is vulgar, just Deserve.
Yogyathe and Yoga.
There are these two beautiful words in Sanskrit, so profound, they convey the Essence of Life itself.
While one can accumulate material wealth, power, position etc through physical (body/mind) efforts, while one can put up a pompous show of well-being to the external world, while one can pretend to be hunky dory on the surface which is all like equating to 'being eligible', clubbed as yogyathe , the crux of the matter lies in what their inner experience truly is, the yoga of it.
This is all the more visible in today's world where technology can enable enhanced production of wealth and it's distribution but can the experience of well being, as a consequence of this accumulation, be assured? Absolutely No, isn't it?
To summarise, while a myriad external circumstances, to give all kinds of experiences/wellbeing can be created, one cannot enjoy these experiences until one really opens up for them, until there is the receptivity.
What is this receptivity?
To Deserve 😊
To Deserve means, to have one's inner machinery ready and working appropriately.
To Deserve means, to have one's inner house is Order.
To Deserve means, to have a Conflict free interiority, to have inner Integrity.
To Deserve means, to have inner Hygiene, inner Sanctity.
To Deserve means, to be sorted inside oneself, to be Alert to the slightest movements inside.
To Deserve means, to be Self Aware , be Aware of the chicanery, the tricks, the cunning nature of one's mind.
To the Deserved, the Cosmos becomes a slave, a tool, an instrument. The Cosmos aligns itself to such a deserving individual (instead of the other way around), it configures itself appropriately around such an individual.
When one ignores the inside through a million distractions of the external world, in the process struggles hard through constant arduous effort for wellbeing, that effort only becomes vulgarity . The only true effort, if any required, is to Be Authentic, Just become Deserving 😊 at the core of one's being, only this determines the Experience, the Yoga of Wellbeing.
Anecdote
Rabiya was frantically searching for a needle outside her house in front of a streetlight. Sensing the commotion, a large crowd of her neighbours gathered in the search in a short while and one of them spontaneously asked her where exactly she had lost the needle. Rabiya replied- ' inside her house ',😇, to which the crowd, all at once retorted, 'why the hell are you searching outside then'? 👹.
Rabiya, in all her calm replied - There was no light inside her house hence she started looking where there was a streetlight 😊.
So, where are we searching?🤔
The Universe is here to take our Orders and Serve, just ensure we place our Order Right.
Just Deserve from inside, place the right order 😊.

There can be a million versions of FALSE but there is always only one TRUTH. The FALSE is Non Self Luminous and is dependent on Truth too. There can't be a False without the Truth because every False is a twisted version of that single Truth only.
Only Truth is existential and there is no escape from it, the False is just an appearance and the Truth, just like Death will always find its way.
The greatest advantage of being Truthful is that it's Zero Maintenance and absolutely no baggage whatsoever. Truth will never abandon you, it just can't, it's a technology that never fails.
Hypocrisy/Self-Denial is the only crime & Honesty is the ONLY best Policy, there is no alternative PERIOD, especially and more so with one's own Self.
Authority is NOT Truth.
Truth is the only Authority.

.....and the Rishi Just Sat Down
All EXPERIENCES, be it acquisition of material things, making of relationships, travelling, wealth, power, position, prestige, poojas, rituals, prayers, religions, spirituality, detox, addictions etc etc when distilled down to their crux, converge to Fulfilling a certain Inner Lack isn't it?
Aren't all these just diversified complex external EXPRESSIONS of a simple/basic inner Lack in their ESSENCE?
What if this Inner Lack could be dealt with DIRECTLY, like a short circuit, instead of meeting with its myriad external expressions and getting entangled?
Well, that's precisely what The Rishi Figured Out and he Just Sat Down 😊.
